Now that I'm approved, I thought I would share my submission images folder in case they can be of any help to others: https://imgur.com/a/ZiaJFO1 Also, for the heavier mud, I used grey clay, water, and white glue. Once I got the mix sufficiently on there, I sprayed everything with a clear matte sealer to keep it there.

Yeah. Just sucks it couldn't happen before I got it permanently attached. Gonna be a lot of masking in my future (but I'll use plastic bags for the largest parts).

Some good news/progress: I'm pretty proud of my helmet setup. I used the d-rings for the straps, and then additional rings on the straps to clip the mask. But, in bad news, the paint on my straps failed and I'll have to redo them:

Painting should be done by this weekend, then it's on to assembly and weathering. I'm trying to get it completed by my birthday next weekend. Would be a nice gift to myself to submit it.

Thanks! It's a dark blue, and I'm going to add purple to the T. Should get back to that at some point.

Much happier. I don't think it's WTF's fault per se, I just don't think these kits looks goo din ABS. Anyway, got some priming done yesterday:

So... I've decided I was unhappy with the WTF kit. Most of his stuff is great, but this kit was never in ABS (unlike the OT stuff), and it just lacks a lot of detail. So I sold it, and bought a kit frim Tripon instead:

In other news, they sent me the wrong shoulder bells, so I'm waiting for the correct ones.

BBB DAY! A lot of cleanup to do, and prep work, but I love the flex resin. It's heavy, but the details are fantastic.

Finally got the right hose today! Which means now I'm only missing one very small little thing:

I got the uniform pieces from Jim Tripon! The coat is a little tight (hard to hug myself - but then, I wouldn't be able to with armor anyway), but I think it's probably fine. I can always let it out a little or piece something in.

I have armor on order from WTF, flex resin, it looks amazing. But I have no clue when it's actually being made, and since I already paid for it.... It's not a huge deal, since it's now too cold for me to spray paint, but like, I want it anyway!

The good news is, I got some great buckles from Darren Vaughan: And my uniform, the tunic and pants I'll wear under the armor, is currently in customs so I should have that in a week or so. The bad news is, I still have no idea when I'll be getting the armor and the places I ordered the hose from sent me this garbage instead of what I actually ordered:

Okay, the officer is definitely done. I may improve some things later (the jodhpurs and hat stand out), but I'm moving on to the mudtrooper officially now. Bike helmet, but I'm waiting for the armor to make sure I get one that fits.
