Got another pic from FBFC Ltd. The company that made the Purge Trooper for Kenobi. I have asked them already if they have some more for us. https://www.instagram.com/p/CiawQSFqYSh/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= -

Like @tipperaryred told, they obviously took the helmet from the mandalorian S2 art book. Is that the image in the book? I don't have it, so... -

You can see different shades on the suit. Comparing to the images with visible ribbed texture i think, that every "darker" part of the suit is a ribbed section 🤔 -

Proposed CRL Edit - Inferno Squad: Del Meeko
TX-20113 replied to IcyTrooper's topic in Inferno Squad Del Meeko
The point is that we don't know which material they use in a galaxy far far away. We can only compare to what we have in our galaxy. I would stay with what we are seeing. Of course it depends on the how it's woven, but usually canvas looks lile that kind of canvas i know. I have a bag made of canvas (there was no more describtion about the material when i bougt it) and well, it looks so much like what we are seeing in the game. I would say "It must be made out of heavy woven canvas or similarly textured fabric". Because we can only guess whats the material. So we are forced to call it "accurate" as soon as it looks like it does in the game. A Level 2 option alsp doesn't make sense to me. Because it is so clearly visible that even in a basic costume it can't be ignored. -
Exactly that!

Proposed CRL Edit - Inferno Squad: Del Meeko
TX-20113 replied to IcyTrooper's topic in Inferno Squad Del Meeko
Yes, sure. But to be honest. I got my suit from Jim in 2019 and that means that the red and black stripes are not made out of the suit's material. So, not really accurate anymore. The material of jim's suit is also described as Oxford/duckwave canvas -
Proposed CRL Edit - Inferno Squad: Del Meeko
TX-20113 replied to IcyTrooper's topic in Inferno Squad Del Meeko
Hey there. I want to request a rewording and addition of more specific infos about the flight suit material, because i and @Wingman (the Inferno squad DCA of the JRS) had lots of discussions with others about the suits material. We agreed that we need a little rewording in all the Inferno CRLs. The simple "...must be made out of canvas or similar heavy material" isn't enough to explain the clearly visible texture of the game's flight suit. Yes, it's clear and tight that it might be canvas, but there are heavy and light types of canvas fabric. We (the DCAs of both Detachments, incl. @tipperaryred) think that we should reword it like "... made out of canvas or any similar textured material", because that would leave the freedom of choosing any other material which has a similar texture as canvas has. Also we have been thinking about checking the best vendors to ask them for possible similar textured fabrics and them to the text. We could also add some high quality screenshots of the game's texture to help the people with choosing an accurate fabric here's what the crl currently tells -
Okay now. Thanks for the patience. Finally i've been able to travel to Endor again and i took good screenshots of Del's Codecylinder Pocket. As everyone can see, @Chaos is right. It seems, that the edge protection of this pocket is made of Rubber or rubber-like materials. As we all know the designers didn't hold back with textures of every small detail and so i think, if they would've wanted to be made of leather they would've added the leather texture too. As in one of my latest posts i would like to ask @Blackwatch to delete the nylon-part of the codecylinder pockets in the CRL and put the leather-part on its place. Also i have the opinion, to make the rubber edge protection of those pockets a Level 2 option and keep the one with leather as the basic option. And here are my Screenshots. (Did some of the other Inferno Members too, so we can compare) Del: And so you can compare with the game's texture-passion: Now Hask: And Iden: (Picture taken in the dark light of the "Collection"-page of the game menu, so i've brightened it up) As we can see, there are some more sewings to see but still no leather texture:

Hey. The ones with a bump are better. About the pillbox: well, i really don't know why this part of the helmet could be functional, but i think logical and so it could contain a port to upload the pilot's personal data or to charge it ??♂️?
-
I've been thinking about another thing. Why do we have a functional pillbox as a L2 option? I had that question in mind very often, but i forgot to ask. I wasn't in the team yet as these parts were discussed. I couldn't find any reference in the game where you can see it open. All you can see clearly that there is some mechanic so it might be able to be opened. Is this the reason why we kept that Option?
-
Okay. Right. There is not any moment in the game where you could see Del's pillbox open, but there is clearly visible mechanic to make that it can be opened. If you need any more help with your Del, feel free to message me in private. Greetings

Hello and welcome to the forums ? let's see if i can help you ? #1) i checked out the CRL in this point. It sais that the width of the Belt can be between 51mm and 76mm. And the over belt is 40mm. I would keep those measures if i'd be you. If the belt is just 30mm you probably can get some problems with the attachement. The holes on that hanging box (its from Jim Tripon, right?) Are to small, i know. You'll have to cut them out. Make them 40mm. #2) for example, i glued some strong neodyme magnets on the belt and also on the detonator. It works pretty good. You can't run because it would fell down, but you can put it on and off pretty easy. But to be honest, there is no "official" way to attache it. Its just important that the way of attachment is invisible. The weathering on every piece of the hard parts should be just scratches. No silver or grey weathering is ever seen on any of those parts, so its not accepted. I would advise you to make it all "clean" just some scratches on the red marks. The scratches on the black parts will come over the years and will look more authentic then ? #3) silver is best for the rivets #4) not that i know. I will check that for you. #5) you mean a screenshot? I will put some in. #6) i took the patches from endorfinders. They look just amazing. Thick vinyl print on on fabric with vertical webbing. Absolutely Level 2 pieces. Just one thing to know about them: they are not with velcro. So you would have to sew the velcro on their back, which is not Level 2 anymore then, or glue the velrco on the back.
-
Now second: The codecylinder pocket As we figured out there was a little mistake about the "There is a piece of nylon strapping sewn below the pen sleeve openings and is the same length as the top of the pocket." and the "A piece of leather or leather-like material is sewn below the pen sleeve openings and is the same length as the top of the pocket." To make clear that the leather-reference is right and the nylon-reference is wrong (and should get deleted) i'll show you some Screenshots Well, its clear that this is no piece of nylon.
-
Okay folks. Right here are my screenshots to proof that we do not need to put the "attaches with velcro" into the text line about the leather stripe As you can see the leather stripe which covers the zipper is only seen particular and its not visible how it is going to be closed. just the collar closure should have a velcro to keep it in position I think we can delete the velcro part from "The front zipper is covered by a 2" (50mm) wide piece of leather or leather-like material with vertical lines that attaches with Velcro over the zipper." It shall be written like: "The front zipper is covered by a 2" (50mm) wide piece of leather or leather-like material with vertical lines"
