What @Blackwatchsaid ?
-
I will add screenshots, like always, later that day to show that the wording "attaches with velcro over the zipper" should be deleted because we really do 1) not need any velcro to close the leather over the zipper, because the chest plate and chest rig are keeping it closed. 2) we do not know how this is attached on the "real" inferno suit. About the codezylinder pocket: We have already talked about that there is a piece of leathern sewn below the codecylinder sleeve opnings. Its just a mistake that the old wording about the nylon piece still appears on the actual CRL. But i can do screenshots anyways to prove it ?

Okay. I've checked his latest post at the Inferno Squad FB Group. Its from June 2021 and the Helmet he showed has a total wrong shape. The quality is not really good, thanks to facebook down rendering, but you can see it already in its shape that this not an Inferno-, not even a R1 TIE based helmet. Inferno/Rogue One Helmets have more round shape. Here is the Inferno. You can see the difference of the shape And just to make see the difference between the R1 Helmet (left) amd the OT TIE helmet (right)
-
Hello. Sorry for the late answer. I will have to check out if he updated some things on his Helmets. As far as i can remember, his Helmets are OT TIE helmets. And those are not matching the CRL standards. I will check that out, just to be sure.

Del Meeko vendors list January 2025 edit and update Below is a list of Vendors for the Inferno Squad Del Meeko that are in good standing with the Spec Ops Detachment. This list is not all inclusive and there are other Vendors that make items for Del Meeko. Many were contacted and did not reply to our request to update their information. Should other Vendors provide us with their information we will update this list accordingly. If you know or use a Vendor that is not listed, contact them and have the Vendor contact us and we will add them. Recommendations are welcome but will not be added to this list unless provided by the Vendor themselves. The Spec Ops Detachment does not endorse any Vendor over any others. It is up to you the Trooper to do the research and exercise due diligence when purchasing any products from Vendors. The Spec Ops Detachment does not get involved in any disputes that a customer may have with a Vendor and even though these Vendors are considered to be in “Good Standing,” it is not uncommon for issues to arise that must be worked out between the buyer and seller. The Spec Ops Detachment endorses a “Buyer Beware” philosophy on any and all transactions. Not really. Talked with the JRS DCA because they are also in the update process i think. But we thought about something like: "Vocoder shall not be molded into the helmet. It should be made of tubes or even look like being made of tubes" Don't know how to write it in the correct way, but something like that would be good i think
-
Hi folks, since the updated CRL is online now i had several talks with JRS DCA and we shared our thoughts about some detail of the Helmet which should be added as some Level 2 detail. I am talking about the vocoder of the Helmet. I had long diskussions with him and although i do not think that it would have any effect on the look of the Helmet at all, i think that he is right when he says, that if we got that much into details with making the vertical webbing lines of the Inferno Patches an option for Level 2, we should also add the Vocoder made of tubes a detail for Level 2. Actually we didnt care much for how the vocoder is built up, but if you a look at those screenshots i am posting here right now, you will see that the vocoder is not part of the molded helmet. It is made of tubes and there is some space between the vocoder tubes and the helmet itself. So, as the DCA for Del Meeko i would advise to make the Vocoder made of tubes a Level 2 detail. And here are my "few" screenshots ? Iden Hask And last but not least: Del As you can see, the Vocoders of all Inferno Squad Helmets are made of 7 single tubes. Their only connection to the Helmet is where the come out/in of it. They shoumd be molded into the Helmet. So, thats something to add as Level 2 option

Hello I have checked the photos and sadly i can see some inaccuracies there. The top of the hanging box looks like it is cut out. Codecylinders are not accurate. The inferno logo on the left arm is turned to the wrong side. The compad is wrong and upside down. The scout pouches are worn on the wrong sides. The detonator shouldnt have black and red greeblies. They should appear in silver. Tubes and end caps of the detonator are wrong. Ripstop material for the flightsuit is inaccurate. The game textures clearly show a texture of heavy canvas or canvas like material. There is a short strap with a metal ring on ypur shoulder pouch which shouldnt be there. The little pocket you are wearing besides the 3 Ammo pouches on his vest is not accurate anymore. It should be a block made of canvas or canvas like material. The black rivets at the straps of the hanging box are also inaccurate. The scout style belt should be worn on top of the officers belt. On the back side you can see that it is worn beside/below the officers belt. And the Scout belt is just a simple Scout belt. You can see it on the outer boxes of the plastic part. They are just square shaped. Inferno Squad scout style belt outer boxes having a different shape If you need game references to all this points just feel free to pm me.
-
Well, yes, its quite visible in the game The current CRL doesnt say anything about it, but it will be in the updated CRL.
-
No armor side plates?
-
Hi there and welcome. I used snap buttons to attache the belt's scout style plastic components on the belt. The diameter of those is 12mm. For the belt strap of the hanging box i didnt use snaps or rivets because its not accurate to use them. If you take a look at the game reference photos you will see that there are none. Good luck, and feel free to send me pm for more help.

Other places to buy Del Meeko helmet and armor
TX-20113 replied to ww2reenactor's topic in Inferno Squad Del Meeko
Sadly i have to say that these Kits were made just in too short time! Shortly after the release of the game and so, these kit isnt that accurate. I didnt check out his actual kit but the kit you can see on the actors is not really accurate. I can just advise to read the finalized Del Meeko CRL text here in our forums, so you can see what it needs to be accurate -

3D Schmiede is on Facebook. And well, about the armor is best to take a look here in the Inferno Squad Thread of our forums. We worked on the update of the CRL and so is possible that you'll maybe get some different infos about the armor there. But you can also get some infos in the JRS/SpecOps Inferno Squad group on facebook.
