Hi all. Mine is just a question on the Tank Topper. Does there have to be a circle on top like the white circle on the Scout Trooper ROTJ? And can someone post up a picture of the topper please. Thanks

Since this, I have painted the brackets. And adjusted the clips to show more of the thermo. Also now the ears came in, so here is the build. with speakers, fans and helmet liner. Just need to paint the screw heads and rivets. Also add the holster. then a full suit up and see what you guys think. Hope to be approved in time for SupaNova late June.

That was my wife who put that on lol. Once I get it all done then I will make sure it is straight. L2, I just want approval first. Thats the goal. will then work it a bit more after that. Bells dont pinch, but will try and expand them a little more. the belt is my next project. I have a police suspender harness coming, that will work well. Loop that around the belt to keep it up and clip the thighs to that, maybe even loop it. Also need to reduce the gap in the back. And then start on the helmet once the ears come.

Ok, so this is my first try on. Just worried about the thighs. I have a belt that I have 2 suspender clips onto the belt, they are connected to the thighs, with a snap and velcro. For extra hold. My worry is them dropping, well the belt sliding down. I'm going to make a h frame harness to the belt to hold it in place. Next up for me is the helmet, just Walt never sent the ears, so waiting for those.

Ok, got all that. However the flightsuit. To wear a canvas material in my climate here will be like standing in the sun. So that been said, I would not spend a crap load of money on yet another suit. The belt also I am aware now the greeblies have to be silver. That I admit I over looked. So has been fixed. Strap on ammo pouch cut. And patch turned correct. The rest of the changes will have to wait. I need to weigh up if I am willing to continue to spend more money on the kit.

Ok, so I recently got approved for Gideon Hask. So I thought I would go the 2 for 1. Since the changes I have suited up today for the first time.

Sorry about the break. Helmet came, marks all over it, hovis are yellow not green. After a full on complaint. Im waiting for a new helmet to arrive. Once that comes it is suit up time.

Just a bit of progress. Have been working on the belt, so that is all together. However have had to re print the SE 14R, as the first one was wrong. And as it was did not sit on the belt correctly. Helmet has been an issue, ordered in December it has not moved. Till today it has now arrived in Australia, so small victory. Parts I need also just arrived in Australia. So build will be moving soon. Have 1 month to have ready and approved for April. Lucky for me I am done with chest, ab, belt, thighs, fore arms. Boots ready, under suit ready. Just the shins, shoulder straps, side straps, to do.

I think I will just paint the whole kit, then gloss spray it all. I just got my IB boots so thats 1 more thing to tick off. So nice to wear aswell. Undersuit is all ready now, also have some lycra shorts and short sleeve coming. Helmet should be ready soon. Just waiting on my shins, as the ones I had the person who had the kit glued the backs, my attempts to part them failed. So new ones soon. then Im ready to suit up, so pics will be coming soon.

Also 1 more question. The chest armour, how it has the neck collar, do I cut the ends off? And to what area or length do I cut them. Noticed on another build they are cut off.

Yeah the price is a bit much for such a small item. I may leave it for now, as the boots and gloves cost me a bit with postage to Australia. I have also had to get chest buckles and side buckles. Also the kit is second hand and the person glused the shins together. So I have some debonder coming, So hope that works. All triming is done, well fixed up atleast. Parts painted for the rockets. And back parts. Question, as this is an 850 kit, is it best to spray paint the armour? In some parts it will need paint to cover the massive scratches. So am I better off spray painting it all?

Hello all, so my Armour is about to arrive. But today I started on my E11D, a bit of work to do on this first, the flashlight I know is the M300. But my question is. The helmet I have is been made for me, but I want to addon the targeter or range finder. The only 3d file I can find does not allow me to add the green led I want for it. Is there a link to a file I can print? I also have now ordered my boots from IBs. And also new gloves as I have some but been used for my ST. Once I get into this a bit more will post up pics.

Thank you all for that feedback. As I just cant find a Jered in my size. I will go with the IB boots. Thankfully it is now the last item I need, so once they open I will order a pair. And I hope to have a submission within the next few months. Considering I will be taking my time to get it right before I submit.

Ok, so if you are going for above L1, then Jered or IB boots are what you would need. However would any boot with a flat sole be ok? Just as long as no heel. It would also come down to the $s spent to replicate the correct style boot, which is a hard find if we are talking Jereds or talib boots. And then to find in your size. Im all for making kits as close to the screen used. However if your just looking for a L1 kit, I would think some sway would need to be included, considering that Jereds are no longer in production. Again this does come down to the DL and GML. Im using an 850 armour with a prop makers helmet. The boots seem to be my MAJOR problem. And even more so now that IB has closed all shipping till 2021.

So like everyone else, seems to be a problem finding the Jered unless you are real lucky. The Talib also. Best option so far has to be the IB option. atleast it will be ok for L1 and L2. Also cuts done on the work for the front boot rib. I think I will go with that option, as I have spent alot of time trying the find the Jered boots.

Anyway, back to my build. So far I have Wampa Flightsuit coming Helmet and chest armour been built Jim Tripon harness coming Galactic Supply making the over belt All other parts I have. I know that weapons are not approvable however I'm building the Heavy Repeater. Will upload pics once its all together.

My question I mainly in regards to "if" the GML does not approve can I request an independent review? I have found that in some cases that it may not be fair.

Ok, so I have had a look at the in depth details of the Meeko Harness. Jim said that his is the closest to the CRL. But some of the details in CRL are incorrect. And I know this may come down to the powers that be to approve or not. If I am not happy with the CML (I think it is) can I ask for an independent review? I'm going Jim for the harness. Jumpsuit is Wampawear. Boots belt and gloves I already have. Helmet and chest will be with Local and overseas makers along with the belt parts. Also local for the 2 rear pouches. I'm still not sure on the belt that the parts go on. If you have any leads would be great. Thanks

So a question. Does Del Meeko have to have a chest box? Can the kit be approved without one? I'm wanting to not have a chest box, as Del is more spec ops then a tie pilot. hask is more tie pilot then a spec op. Thanks
