  1. The hero blasters were all mostly based off airsoft models as far as I'm aware. Bapty who were dishing out the blasters on set showed us a few of them when we had a rain break. the functioned and had recoil etc in some of them to be more realistic. id wager if there is an airsoft model out there with that different shaped hole that would be why
  2. Incredibly odd at times, especially trying to recreate the costume. But fantastic memories. I have been told we will be seeing atleast the security version again in Season 2 As far as I know we won't be seeing it again after that as the skipped all or the majority of the costumes (heartwrenching)
  3. Yeah thats the best image I've seen of him, was an airsoft conversion unlike our rubber cast rifles. Had full range of motion for firing so I assumed it would show up as a hero weapon somewhere in the series but never did. Fingers crossed for season 2 🤞
  4. Yeah I have a feeling these were leftovers from Solo that filmed here and the lights were elsewhere. Funnily I know of one other weapon variant but there is no clear picture of it and it never appeared on any behind the scenes stuff unfortunately (The trooper ontop of the turret at the checkpoint had a sniper rifle variant of the e-10.5, gutted its not on screen) I currently have shear tech making me the version I had on set that I have added pictures in the first post.
  5. Hey wondering if I can get some help with which blaster versions are currently approvable for the Aldhani Trooper? I've attached some pictures of the blaster that I was using when filming but I have no idea what it's designation is as it looks different from the 10.5 as it has a "hand guard" or something on the outside of the barrel
  6. Sorry to revive a dead thread but I got some information from the makers of the armour for the series. The armour wasn't even painted. It was fast cast black resin, they didn't have time to paint them as they were churning them out at a high speed, just painted the details and used hycote matt black spraypaint to touch up damage. Probably explains all the weird lighting reflections etc
  7. Sorry missed this tag. Our ones were just basic black webbing fabric. Our blasters were cast though. Hero weapons were much higher standard, got to see one of them "functioning" as it could fire and had recoil etc.
  8. That fabric does look similar in the weave atleast to what I have on hand. I believe the original fabric wasn't originally green. I actually believe it was a blue denim dyed with a yellow to make green. Note the yellow and blue sections of the fabric
  9. Do you have an image for the fabric and I can tell you if it matches the screen used fabric. Difference is, im not an actor looking to be hired again. If you prefer I can stop helping or providing information based on the screen used items I have in my possession
  10. The standard helmets we had for the aldhani troopers it was a suspension rig. The foam padding is probably for stunts (hence knocked off) as it would give them a bit more protection and stability
  11. The helmets we had (the minions not the hero cast) the ridge was molded in wasn't a rubber trim The goggles were cast and fixed in place The helmet chin cup on mine snapped half way to set and costume dept just removed the rest and said they were poop lol. They were cast from the original chin cups possibly the mudtrooper ones but were really really brittle
  12. The onset armour overlapped at the side and had velcro closures. If this is a stunt set they may have put an extension in to account for extra padding under the armour (looks like a back pad under the jacket bulging over the back of the belt which would be commonly worn)
  13. Jim's fabric looks to be a more accurate weave but keep trooping has the more accurate costume pattern. Pockets should be longer and bottom pockets on the jacket should come right down to the hem
  14. At the end of the day the armour used on set was black. I wore it, was already a 501st member and was taking notes right from my first costume fitting. How it looks on screen is entirely upto your own perception and always will be. Take any photo of anything in your own house, it won't look the same on the photo as it does to your own eye. I think I did say on the crl thread previously that it was black
  15. Oh yeah that was me, the armour was black. Also double checked with one of the dressers and another one of the extras from aldhani confirmed it aswell
