  1. I'm gonna do a run of casts from this one when I get the chance to do so
  2. It's a metallic spraypaint finish, I have one of the boxes from set. Yeah the channel had the original clip which broke off
  3. Cool screen used of these ones was only 67mm tall, 45mm wide and 25mm deep. they were resin casts of a 3d print with a notch in the top
  4. Can anyone provide me with sizes for the R1 belt box? I have measurements etc for the screen used box I wore and I think they may be quite different
  5. Oh not at all haha, but the helmeted guys I was with was all plain sided leather boots no buckles and no hobnails as I think that was a question that came up. I will certainly be going for just standard leather jack boots with my version with some nice insoles to be far more comfy than I was 🤣
  6. Sorry been out with a bad case of the flu. For us extras we had replica boots made of cheap pleather. They were horrible and had thin soles. No hobnails or buckles for us. They were quite baggy too. I imagine the cast members are who you see with nicer more comfortable real boots
  7. Just throwing this in there, still wet but this is the machine wash dylon olive green. Looks a bit darker in person but to me looks like a good option
  8. Basically big ponchos, you wear them when not on the set so paparazzi don't get photos of the costumes basically. We all had numbers painted on them so we could be identified by the crowd team. It's the only time I've seen them used but heard marvel etc use them when trying to avoid spoilers. Felt kinda pointless to us as we were half way up a mountain
  9. We didn't have belts if I remember correctly, might have had some elastic suspenders safety pinned into place if they were loose at all (pretty common for background extras) but I think mine fit me OK. Found my gloves added pictures, the orange speckles are from the "privacy cloaks" we had to wear when not on set. They had orange numbers painted on them and it got everywhere in the rain (they constantly had to wipe us down before we turned over to get rid of marks)
  10. This colour here is pretty close to what my jacket colour was on set, the trousers I had were more green
  11. Probably every single extra. It was all about what fitted you not about what matched.
  12. ^^^ this is me, for some reason i have an old profile and my phone logged me into that one and i never noticed Yip I believe they are the exact gloves I have, they all came from a box reused from rogue one so I don't think they were the only ones in use
  13. Yeah the cylinders are silver and cut at an angle, shortest towards the body I believe that's them, will confirm once I find mine again
  14. Yeah was silver on the back areas, on our ones they had just been clearly spray painted and not finished to a detail finish as they are never meant to be seen in detail. Gloves I had were Dents make of gloves, they all came from a box marked rogue one so they are reused from previous productions
  15. Hey, hoping I can add some insight here, I was lucky enough to wear the costume on set and been working with the IOC members looking to build this kit. The helmet had no rubber trim, there is a slight lip as you can see in the reference images but no rubber trim The chin strap was grey and most of us didn't have chin cups as they kept breaking (mine broke on the way to set so was removed, they were recasting and very brittle) The inner liner of the helmets was webbing like a construction helmet The goggles were cast in place and couldn't be moved Will help along the way where I can
