I've also been working on and off on patterns for the trooper, the pants are simple, a straight legged jean, using double stitching throughout all seams with specifically the back of the pants being laid over the front on the side seams, with a panel about 1/2" away from the in and out seam of the leg and around 11", based on what I've seen, long. Id love to see 3d model makers replicate the exact intricacies of the armor, like Paul Prentice did with the shoretrooper.

I feel like because it shows up on screen with how open the biceps get it should at least be an optional on lvl 2. Ideally we would also move the language to the security and army troopers as well.

With removing parts of the internals from R1, does the armor have the metal shoulder tabs or the cord connecting the shoulder to the bicep?

I think it is beneficial to specifically that it matches the shape, even if redundant. The big reason is because of how similar the Andor Armor and the Mudtrooper are. I think youre right with the hem being low on the crl, but it does still fall bellow the crotch seen here. For leeway, I suggest we stick with the wording because we have a behind the scenes picture showing off the jacket and, courtesy of the one armed wonder, a good look on the sleeves and collar.

Yeah that really is all it is given the mic isnt seen on everyone.

Also I just noticed that the whole right arm armor is just missing? More customization I guess but just, why?

Yeah thats my thought too. Its not like stormtroopers where they show up on screen all the same, the army trooper branch is a bunch of variants, even in the same costume.

An interesting thing I saw was that one trooper just didn’t have a right shoulder. Given that he’s a part of the Andor strike team and even given a closeup, should that be an optional configuration?

I definitely think the army (and security if we are being honest) costumes should be made as customizable as the officer uniforms from the ioc, because of how many variants we see on screen coexisting.

Also with the army troopers actually being more brown but being made to be green, the armor on Aldhani was also made more green than the matte or flat black it was!

First time poster (oof) any I agree with the thought that the uniform should be more brown leaning with green undertones. Mina Rau has been confirmed to be the same uniform and with that we see the majority of the troopers wearing brown. From people on set saying the color of the uniform and the bts shots we know the actual color. The issue is of course the color grading, which we’ve seen two shades. I suggest we go with the closer shade of the uniform (mina-rau brown). Green would of course still be acceptable seeing how many troopers have noticeably greener hats, but the goal should be a more feldgrau brown.
