Convert a Hasbro toy to E-11 blaster

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Here is a little tutorial I have written last year. Maybe it can help.

What to have :

- Hasbro E-11 blaster

- Resin kit for modifying the toy (see Doopydoos)

- Blaster bought on e-bay

Step 1 : Do the resin pieces fit the blaster?

- Sand and cut the pieces to perfectly fit the toy

Step 2 : Works on the blaster

- Cut the nose of the blaster.

- Pierce the targeting.

- Cut out the area below the gun sight :

Step 6 : Gun sight's Modification

- Get a glass' lense and work it with your Dremel in order to have the good size for the gun sight

- Cut the entrance of the gun sight :

- Build a round cercle using a transparent red plastic and stick a silver metallic paper behind (like silver lenses used on TX buckets).

- Stick that onto a hard transparent plastic round + silver round + red one.

- Stick it to a medecine tube's cap

- Draw a target on the red round.

- Insert the cap inside the gun sight's tube.

- Stick the lense at the entrance of the tube and put a black joint.

Good info.. but does anyone have any info on the Hyperdyne electronics upgrade, which I have, but never took photos. It is a really nice visual and audio upgrade... if you have the cash.

Last time I looked, they where out of stock. And yes, they look awesome, but are expensive.

I did the resin update to my hasbro, and it looks much better, I specially like the idea for the scope, I will do that to mine, I figured, since I have not $$$$ to buy me a prop, this is the next best thing I guess.

Nice job and thanks for the tips.
