screen-used armor from LFL Archives

Recommended Posts

This is a fantastic gallery of ANH screen-used TK armor courtesy of FISD: http://www.whitearmo...eferenceGallery

It's a great way to see how ANH-style armor was put together. This was invaluable to me when assembling my TK, and would be a great guide for anyone wanting to create accurate TX.

Nice! And good call on the reference aspect.

The size of the clips on the TD still give me pause ... They look HUGE.

There is a travelling LFL show going on right now that has a lot of screen used costumes and props (identities http://www.starwarsidentities.com/#!/) ... Don't get to touch them but you can get about 4 inches away. Can still see actors names in the buckets ... It was really neat.

I'd love to see that display. I hope it comes to the states after it's done with you fellows up North. As for the TD clips, that's the size I use for my TK and my TS, and it actually feels really solid, more so than the smaller clips I use on my TX varieties. I set my TKs up to mimic this entire setup, and it works really well.

Absolutely ... my wife has TD clips that size and construction, and she goes bombing through crowds at cons ... Never worried about her TD being taken as a "souvenir", por having it come off. They just look huge when they aren't attached to the belt and with the rest of the kit.

Awesome pic Todd. Ive seen this a long time ago but every time i see it i often wonder what it must have been like way back then to be on the set ! Epic huh?? Now i cant wait to see what Disney does with the new generation. New shadow troopers ?

Man why'd you get my hopes up for information that was already available.

I cited it as being from FISD Dizz. It's been around a while, but it hasn't made its way onto these boards as far as I can tell. It was helpful for me when I started building my first TK, and I wish I would have worked from this reference with my TX prior to that.
