Drktrooper[501st]
So I saw a medic thread started and figured I would see if this one would qualify for a Spec Ops designation. I was hoping on getting started on this as soon as I could but with moving, finishing my TI, and such it has been put on the back burner for a while. Was looking to see if this would be a good venture to even get started on. Thanks for any feedback. Link to comment
Scubacat[TX]
Love the idea. I also like the design. I would wonder though if the goggles would be part of the helmet or not. Link to comment
THE TROOPER[501st]
Do it Pete, Do it. Go boy Link to comment
Drktrooper[501st]
I think the goggles are like the AT-ST Drivers, just pulled down. I also noticed the pants are not quite the officers pants. The shirt may start out like an officer's but has arm pockets. The third photo shows one in a crew jump suit. Once I get done with my move and TI, I will get to designing the base of the costume. Thanks for the kind words. I'll give it a go and keep everyone updated. *Edit...after looking at the lid in the photos...it appears to be a snowies lid without the face cover. Link to comment
Scubacat[TX]
Yeah! It would be another costume I would add to my list of ones I want. Link to comment
toddo[TX]
I'd love to see this one come to life. The helmet seems a bit off from a snowie lid. I'd really like to see some 360 images of this guy to get a better sense for the costume. Link to comment
DizzyStormtrooper[501st]
im sure what the designers were going for was the helmet is a navy commando dome with lenses attached and extensions of the flair. clearly not a snowie/atst helmet. that being the case im already halfway there! Scubacat[TX]
I wish there were more images for this costume. I have to agree with the 360 view too. That and why the cap instead of the helmet on the one? Link to comment
DizzyStormtrooper[501st]
fivezero and myself are (sort of) working on ripping models from the game. i have the files, but i cant open them in any programs yet, nor position them in a "T" standing for 360 shots Link to comment
toddo[TX]
That's good news. Ty has been quite successful at grabbing such images from games in the past, and the detachment is richer for it. Link to comment
Drktrooper[501st]
The only thing I can think of, in regards to the one that has the cap on, is that he was not deployed on a planet. This is the Mutiny on the Rand Ecliptic image. Link to comment
Scubacat[TX]
Ah that makes more sense. I like both looks. What about the red and blue capsules? Do they glow? Link to comment
Drktrooper[501st]
I think when I try to do this I will have the bacta tanks glow for the added effect. Link to comment
Scubacat[TX]
Yeah that would be a nice touch to the costume. It would've cool to be able to switch between the colors as well. Link to comment
Drktrooper[501st]
Thanks Scubacat, that shouldn't be too hard to do. Link to comment
Master Tej
I'm not sure if I'm missing something here, but what source are the 3D models from? Are we looking at another TFU trooper here? Also, this is exciting because you've got three references! If you could do this, it seems like it could so get pushed through! Then, we could maybe even work on getting somebody to do the surgical scrubs version as an alternate to the combat version! (See below) http://forum.specops501st.com/index.php?/topic/1936-imperial-medic-is-that-under-our-perview/ Go for it! Go like the wind! - Master Tej - Link to comment
DizzyStormtrooper[501st]
yes the wii version specifically, the medic, officer, and nc have the same helmet, you can see the extensions of the flair close up on the red background above, as the nc flair would have been cut to accomodate the faceplate. heres the officer for comparison Link to comment
Scubacat[TX]
Nice pics Dizzy! Yeah totally going to have this as a far future build. Link to comment
Drktrooper[501st]
Thanks for the center pic Dizzy. It has a better view of the back that I couldn't find. Link to comment

DizzyStormtrooper[501st]
i come bearing gifts identical to snowy save for the blueish color. notice the stripes on the uniform as well. the textures are missing for the bacta tank and face Link to comment
Master Tej
I think the jumpsuit is definitely a tan/grey color, and not green. - Master Tej - Link to comment
Drktrooper[501st]
Thanks Dizzy! IMO it looks like a two piece like the officers uniform. Gray top with blue stripes and black pants with blue stripes and cargo pockets Link to comment
