crazas[TX]
When in doubt, ask, post your work in progress. The more pics the more help you'll get. To be honest, you have joined the best Detachment in the Legion and you are going to get all the help you need. 2 Link to comment

Still waiting for the d-day....it's taking long than it should be :/ Btw I have been preparing for the belt, since I couldn't find some patent leather woman belt that can suit the armor, I ordered some fine cut Patent leather ... Darth Emphatic[CMD-DWM]
You can use a canvas belt too. Trooperbay sells them, though I dont know what the shipping ould be to you. The patent leather you got also looks fine. Link to comment

Kalashnikov[501st]
Hello everybody. My name is Kalashnikov. Or at least that's what you can call me. I'm hoping to join your detachment and become a Shadow Storm Trooper. I'm expecting my Shadow Stormtrooper kit to arrive from Anovos any day. I'm wondering if the Anovos kit is authentic enough to be 501st approved. If not, I don't want to waste my time, and find another direction. Can anyone help me? Is the Anovis kit authentic enough for approval? Link to comment

ivantam303[501st]
Got off with a quick start with the helmet! Glued the top and the back of the helmet with e6000 And as expected, they offered the wrong blue tubestrips and I got black ones ordered from Trooperbay earlier and set them immediately Link to comment
ivantam303[501st]
Tkuk offered many Velcros for strapping. Since I wish to assemble this kit with a better standard for approval, I will be using snaps elastic and nylons for strapping. And to my disappointment, the lens are dark green instead of silver... Stay tuned! Link to comment
Darth Emphatic[CMD-DWM]
Snap systems are the way to go. 1 Link to comment
ukswrath[TX]
Yea I was tempted to do install a bracket system on the TX, still might, but if not, snaps are the only alternative IMO.. Link to comment

ivantam303[501st]
Trooperbay has mirrored tint lens material if you need some. I just noticed as well!! In order to save some time tho, I got these from local shops: They are elastic mirrored lenses and I think they should do as well Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk Link to comment
