So in building my magma, I thought I might post here instead of my giant build thread.

 

First question though, which is acceptable for specialist level on the ears of the magma?

That is what I am trying to figure out. I would technically be either a captain or a sergeant due to the sahdow teams and my number of troops.

Ears on the Magma should be gray for both basic and specialist.

A few questions. I can't find your post about the sun shining through, did you spray paint your helmet only or all the armor. Or was it not spray paint? Can't remember. Could you also list the testors paint colors you used? I think there's a gray, red & 2 different blacks?

I had the inside of my helmet blackened. I will be doing the same with the rest of my armor because light shines through the red. That and you can see where people have placed straps and such.

Which areas are you talking about for the paint? On the helmet?

Yeah, the abs and I guess the ammo pouch on the thigh has to have the rivet painted too for specialist.

I need to clean this bad boy up. I think I am done trimming. I want to go specialist with my magma and my shadow, but I need my magma to be done so I can scrub up my shadow.

Sorry to bring up the paint again, but I just went through your other build thread. The Testors color is kind of hard to read, does it say Gl. Red, as in gloss red? Does that mean you just just used a gloss grey, black and a flat black for the rest of the paint's?
