mitcheg1[TX]
They're certainly close. Would need to cut off the extra tab on the side and color the stitching black. Only issue I have is the top of the pouch should be squared off, these are trapezoidal! Link to comment

marktoots[501st]
I agree with you Greg and it looks to be too wide as well but it's difficult to tell! Sent from my SM-G800F using Tapatalk Link to comment
mitcheg1[TX]
Been pouring over the strapping on the chest rig. I believe the two straps that go up to the shoulder clips are 1.25" webbing with a cam style buckle that secures it in place. Not sure how to feed it through and secure it though. As for the small straps on the corner, they appear to be 2" elastic that I assume I'll use velcro to secure in place. Finally the strap around the back is 3/4" webbing. I plan to use a short section of elastic with velcro attached to secure to the webbing with small rectangular clips. Link to comment

I think the strapping that passes through the shoulder d-rings has a hook on the end which the attaches to the middle bar of the tri-glide buckle on the strap itself. If you zoom in on the buckle set up on the right side of the Trooper you can clearly see that the end of the strap has a loop which wraps around something. I suspect that the tri-glide buckle (rectangular buckle on strap) provides a means for adjusting the length of the strap with the hook providing the anchor point. Darman
Ohh, Well seen. I've didn't see it like that. I think it's not a 2 slots / 3 bar buckle. But a 3 slots / 4 bar like this one : http://www.paragear.com/skydiving/10000175/H430/ The strap comes over the second and third bar. And the hook comes to the second bar. 1 Link to comment

You could well be right about it being a 4 bar. That would explain the size and the reason the webbing rises up from behind the lower bar and the flats off before passing back behind the upper bar. Darman
Great find. But i have doubts. What about the strap making a loop around the "hook" (or not, maybe you right with belt buckle but not this one) and sewed on the same strap ? ( sorry if i make some faults on my english ) Link to comment

Darman
Hi ! I have a question about the ammo-chest strapping. Here in red, it seems the strap doesn't go up to the shoulder buckle but it's attached to the chest armor. The upper strap seems to be attached at the first one. Have I missed something ? And in blue,it seems to be a plastic (or something else) zip clamps. For a screen accurate. http://etigo.fr/images/produits/attaches-etiquettes/attache-etiquette-cordon-manuelle-vue-1.jpg Link to comment

With regard to the chest rig strap if you take a look at the DT with chest rig but no pauldron that was photographed at the Australian comic con recently you can see the strap attaches to the d-ring on the shoulder strap. In the image that you posted you can see the d-ring sticking out from under the Pauldron. (Circled in Red) It does look to be too far off the shoulder but when you compare it's position on the chest plate to that seem at SWCE it is actually correct. The Green lines try to indicate how far down the plate it actually is! Good spot on the plastic wrap tie thingy Sent from my SM-G800F using Tapatalk Link to comment

marktoots[501st]
Nice photos They add some confusion though as there a subtle differences between this costume and the SWCE or promo/screen ones. This looks very similar to the one's on display in Australia recently. The immediate differences that jump out at me are the type of gloves used and the chest rig. The gloves used here are black latex rather than fabric. This chest rig has eye holes above the ammo pouches whereas the screen used one (seen in promo shots) does not. boomshakra[501st]
Need thoughts on Potential vendors for the specialist's pauldron. Trooper bay looks pretty good, but concerned it may be too small and too stiff. For what it's worth, I inquired with Trooperbay if they are going to offer the black pauldron with the stitch pattern the Death Trooper has and Mike said they're working on it... 2 Link to comment

I'm having one made by Jason Parsons with the MEPD. He's one, if not the best Pauldron maker on the planet IMHO. I'll post pics once it arrives 1 Link to comment
