First0rder[501st]
Possibly lighting Steve as they were both freshly painted using the same color. though i think the Enamel is too Glossy so im going to have another go at it to mute it more. will try a satin or semigloss silver next. First0rder[501st]
Hi All. Latest progress. Cut and sized then installed AFX Mirrored Lens. I used a Dremel for the rough cut then fine tuned it using sand paper. I left the factory protective film on during this process. Â Â Next, i installed the new Mirrored lens and repainted both the frown and vocoder with classic Silver. Previously it was Metallic silver which believe reflected white light. Â Close up with Mirrored lens and repainted frown and vocoder. Link to comment

Kylorick[501st]
Looking good trooper , you may want to shorten the chest to ab elastics they seem to be a bit long , you want the chest to be overlapping the ab. When you are test fitting best to do it with under suit on. Keep up the good work. Â Â Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Link to comment
First0rder[501st]
Thanks, ive noticed that too so will shorten the chest to ab straps. Â Question on the shoulder straps though. Ive read that the shoulder straps need to have 4 little humps on the chest plate. If i remove and re-adhere the Shoulder straps making 3 little humps on the chest plate, then i could also lower the chest plate to overlap with the ab plate. Whats the ruling on that as dont want to be non-compliant there. Â Thanks Andy Link to comment
ukswrath[TX]
Looking good Andrew, Ricky nailed it, a few adjustments and you're almost there. Link to comment
First0rder[501st]
Thanks Ukswrath  Heres where i read. they mention to count 5 ribs and other says reference to Hans Armor. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/39359-placement-of-shoulder-straps/ http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11455-my-ap-shoulder-straps/   Thought i dont see anything in the CRL stating how many ribs are required on the front chest plate. only the following so i might be good to move the shoulder straps back too? thus lowering the chest plate.  This is for TX Specialist approval:  Shoulder Straps These shall free float in back. These shall be glued in front. The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a black elastic band to the black fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece. Kylorick[501st]
Looks like your trousers are quite thick , once in undersuit the whole body will rise up a bit. You should leave them with 4 until you do proper test fit. Â Â Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Link to comment
First0rder[501st]
Thanks Ricky!! Ill shorten the Strapping from the Chest plate to the Abs plate and also test with with undersuit on. Those sweats as you mentioned might be too thick too causing additional lower inaccuracies. Then after if needed, ill move both the shoulder straps back to 3 bumps,  Will redo and repost this weekend  Thanks again for all of your help !  Andy Link to comment
Kylorick[501st]
No problem , post some pics up before you move straps so i can take a look might be something else that can be done without moving them. Â Â Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Link to comment

My suggestion, test fit then proceed. Link to comment

First0rder[501st]
Updates made so now the chest plate overlays the abs. I had to shorten the straps between the chest and ab plate as well as move the inner canvas shoulder strap Snap back by an inch. This gave me 3/4Inch overlay. First0rder[501st]
Got a few new pics of progress. Â Flipped over to Rivets on the Left Ab/Kidney Plate. Â Belt (Front) Â Belt (Rear) Â For the Belt, can the Front facing screws stay Silver or need painted black? Also for the Holster, i have it attached following the Stunt configuration using 2 mounting screws (1 for each band), however am i permitted to use the Hero mounting configuration where that one uses 4 mounting screws (2 for each band). I didnt see anything in the CRL for either in STD TX or Specialist. Thanks Link to comment

Kylorick[501st]
Hi Andy , It also looks like you have left the sides on your 4 Ab button strip. This should be flat plate about 20mm wide and 75mm long. Â Â Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Link to comment
First0rder[501st]
Great thx, will paint the screws black and remove the extra edging on the 4 ab buttons. Â No biggie here but just wondering your thoughts on the 2 vs 4 mounting screws for the Holster, Stunt vs Hero. Are we permitted to wear if as a Hero config? Link to comment
