Post is pinned.

My thoughts on the levels. So far the only level 3 certifications are on the gloves and boots. Level 2 being the material they're made of and level 3 being their shape. Honestly, as in the end it's more the appearance than the actual material, I'd propose making level two the combination of both, and getting rid of level 3 entirely. i.e.

For level two certification (if applicable):

  • Boots are made of leather.
  • Original German jack boots (or “Knobelbechers”) or an authentic replication thereof.
  • Boots have the top adjustment strap.

MOST of us have leather boots, and MOST have real Jacks, then there are those of us with really big landing gear and we have leather motorcycle boots. Of all the troopers I have known in ten years, only a very few had the pleather Funtasmia boots.

Since the gloves difffer between the two, and its only a level difference based on , as you say material vs shape, I would concur.
