Imperial Army Line Officer CRL (Proposed) [Battlefront II OT Officer Class]

Required Costume Components

The following costume components are present and appear as described below.

 

 

Helmet

For 501st approval:

  • Open face helmet consisting of a dome (with rim) and helmet skirt.
    • Helmet is based on the shell of the Snowtrooper / Snow Cmdr. and the AT-ST Driver.

    [*]The helmet is painted a Grey-Green or Gray color.

    [*]A "Rangefinder" is attached to the helmet dome.

    • This is centered to the right side of the dome and aligned to the rim.

    [*]The rangefinder consists of :

    • Rectangular box about h/l/d 1.85" (47mm), 1.65" (42mm), 0.4" (10.16mm) with a slight bevel and details on. The box is the same color as the helmet.
    • 1 screw cap or cylindrical knob approx. 0.4" (10.16mm) in diameter in the upper left corner.
    • 2 cylindrical pins lined up in the lower left corner of the box.
    • 1 cylindrical pin in the upper right corner of the box.
    • 1 Rangefinder main detail aligned at the lower right corner of the box.
    • Ring shaped antenna on top of the box with about 1.5" (38.1mm) in diameter and 0.35" (9mm) depth being cut at the top.

    [*]There are 5 flat rectangular clips, positioned equally around the helmet where the dome meets the skirt. (1 in the center, 2 on each side).

    [*]Imperial Code Disks are positioned on both sides of the helmet skirt.

    [*]There are 6 screw cover greeblies positioned equally around the bottom of the helmet skirt (3 on each side).

    [*]A black trim is covering the edge of the helmet skirt and forehead of the dome.

    [*]Silver/metallic cylindrical 'Spine shaped Greeblie' bar in the rear center of the helmet skirt.

    • The bar is divided into 11 segments with the thicker 6 segments ideally fitting into the 6 depressions of the rear helmet skirt.

Goggles

For 501st approval:

  • Black trimmed military style goggles, with a Light Gray/Tan strap.

For level two certification (if applicable):

  • Goggles are angular, and not rounded in shape.
  • Strap is light Gray, and approx 1.5cm in width, with a small buckle on both sides.

For level three certification (if applicable):

  • Both buckles to have a small cut-out section at the rear.

Tunic

For 501st approval:

  • Details in development.

Gloves

For 501st approval:

  • Gloves are constructed of a non-textured, black leather or leather-like material.
  • Enclosed fingers.
  • Wrist length and fitted.
  • No buckles, straps, etc.
    • Note: Three straight stitched lines, on the back of the hand, (that match some references) are permitted.

Chest Armor

For 501st approval:

  • Chest Armor matches visual references.
  • Accurate shape/design to front of chest.
  • Outer rim has a continuous trim edge.
    • As well as a raised trim on the recessed box.

    [*]Shoulder straps are Stormtrooper style and secured to the chest armor with glue. There should be no visible rivets or screws.

    [*]Rear of shoulder strap secured to an under-strap.

    • Under strap is olive green, made of nylon or poly webbing, at least 40mm wide, with no distinguishable stitching at least.
    • Two circular greeblies are present on each strap where the webbing meets the plastic should bridges.
      • ​21mm Dual Lock Fasteners with a brass brad fastener through the middle is most accurate.

      [*]Under strap connects to lower chest / rib strapping as described below.

    [*]The front recessed box includes several detail pieces.

    • One T-shaped slider knob greeblie is present and matches the provided image. Slider is painted gunmetal or olive green.
    • Left of the slider knob is an olive green raised rectangular piece with a notch cut out matching the provided image.
      • This effect can be accomplished with a decal.

    [*]Right-hand side of chest has an elongated rectangular strip with three rectangles attached, spaced equidistantly.

    • ​This piece is glued onto the armor. No visible attachments (ie. rivets) are permitted.

    [*]Left-hand side of chest has two oblong shaped details which protrude outwards.

    • They are offset and staggered from one another, one being more forward.

    [*]Lower Chest / Rib strapping.

    • Made of nylon or poly webbing at least 40mm wide. Elastic is Authorized.
    • Strapping runs from one lower corner of the armor around the lower back just above the belt and connects to the other lower corner of the armor
    • Strapping is visibly one continuous piece and secured hidden behind the chest armor.
    • Strapping from shoulders connects to the lower chest strapping and is stitched. No other visible methods are permitted (ie. buckles, snaps).

Rank Buttons

For 501st approval:

  • Worn on the top left section of the chest.
  • Rank consists of colored plastic tiles, mounted onto a rectangle or square which is then secured to the armor.
  • Tile buttons should match Imperial Army rank configuration - red tiles over blue. Two rows, no more than four tiles per row.
  • Rank tiles are translucent. Colour, quantity & combinations are determined by rank.

Belt

For 501st approval:

  • Snowtrooper style abdomen plate, painted to match Helmet and Armor, with circular loop pattern in the center.
  • Secured by a Black leather belt, approximately 2" wide.
  • Visible adjustment holes on the belt are acceptable.

 

Breeches

For 501st approval:

  • Details in development.

Officer Boots

For 501st approval:

  • Knee-high, black, lace-less, smooth non-textured, leather or leather-like material.
    • Rubber is not acceptable.
    • PVC or synthetic material is allowed as long as it gives the appearance of leather.

    [*]There are no stretch panels, buckles, snap tabs, or decoration.

    [*]Boots have conservative heels.

    [*]If zippers are present, they are hidden on the inner part of the boot shaft.

    • Not visible from the front, side or back.

    [*]The top of the boots may be flat or Spanish Style, but not Cowboy or Super Hero (pointed at the front) style.

For level two certification (if applicable):

  • Boots do not have a zipper.

For level three certification (if applicable):

  • Boots are made of leather.
    • Not vinyl or PVC.

    [*]Exact replicas of English riding (dress) boots or Equestrian boots.

Holster

For 501st approval:

  • Holster is made from leather or leather like material.
  • The holster has a crescent shape matching the visual references.
  • Holster is worn on the right side and is attached to the leather belt at one end under the belt armor and at on the other end at the hip.
    • No visible stitching, buckles, or snaps are seen making these attachments.

Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below.

Tunic, Olive

For 501st approval:

  • Fabric is a medium weight suiting material exactly matching the pants.
    • Gabardine style weave is most accurate.

    [*]Tunic is double-breasted with a left over right closure on the tapered yoke.

    [*]Yoke comes up across the shoulder to the top shoulder seam.

    [*]The standing collar has square corners and is about 1.25" (31.8 mm) tall.

    • Collar closes snugly and includes a modesty panel behind closure.
    • Collar edges are closed with two eye hooks.

    [*]There are code cylinder pockets on both outside panels of the jacket from about half way between the top and bottom on the arm hole.

    [*]Sleeves are long, and without decoration, cuffs or buttons.

    [*]Sleeves contain 2 seams.

    • One along the bottom and one along the back.

    [*]Tunic is constructed with no top-stitching (stitches visible on the exterior surface of fabric)

    [*]Hook and eye fasteners on the uniform should not be visible.

Gloves

For 501st approval:

  • Gloves are constructed of a non-textured, black leather or leather-like material.
  • Enclosed fingers.
  • Wrist length and fitted.
  • No buckles, straps, etc.
    • Note: Three straight stitched lines, on the back of the hand, (that match some references) are permitted.

Chest Armor

For 501st approval:

  • Chest Armor matches visual references.
  • Accurate shape/design to front of chest.
  • Outer rim has a continuous trim edge.
    • As well as a raised trim on the recessed box.

Belt

For 501st approval:

  • Snowtrooper style abdomen plate, painted to match Helmet and Armor, with circular loop pattern in the center.
  • Secured by a Black leather belt, approximately 2" wide.
  • Visible adjustment holes on the belt are acceptable.

Breeches

For 501st approval:

  • Olive green riding breeches with semi-stiff flares at the hip/thigh area.
  • Made of a medium weight suiting material matching the tunic and hat.
    • Gabardine style weave is most accurate.

    [*]Pockets are acceptable, if not visible when the tunic is worn.

    [*]There are no noticeable cuffs on the pants.

Officer Boots

For 501st approval:

  • Knee-high, black, lace-less, smooth non-textured, leather or leather-like material.

The tunic and pants are not the same as the current line officer, the tunic has a left over right collar closure the colour is also different, the pants and boots are more akin to First Order. the holster is the same as First Order Hask and would only fit the Rk-3 or the Blurrg as the others would be too big

The tunic and pants are not the same as the current line officer, the tunic has a left over right collar closure the colour is also different, the pants and boots are more akin to First Order. the holster is the same as First Order Hask and would only fit the Rk-3 or the Blurrg as the others would be too big
