Reformant
Also... total n00b issue. When trying to post jpg image via Imgur links I get an error: "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." Link to comment
Chaos[CMD-DCA]
Click the individual picture's share link in imgur and select the bcc/forum code. If you are trying to use the mobile app you won't get that option. You have to use a computer and the website 2 Link to comment
lancer[TX]
If you go to the Death Troopers build group on Facebook you should be able to locate Kerry Alan Rowntree. He makes the leather pouches and holsters and they are fantastic. Not sure if he's a member here on the forum or not. As for the ridges built into Jim's forearms, I took some 5mm neoprene and have it glued down to one side, wrap around and attach magnetically to the other so I can still open and close the forearm. It works but it's annoying as hell. When I have some time I plan on grinding that piece off and repainting, then going with rubber straps from Andrew McClary. Link to comment
NatrualBornDT[501st]
For the belt material, Google "ribbed rubber mat" and it should come up with the material you can buy Link to comment
Atraxas[TX]
Love my Jim kit, (also have a fo tk by him) but his DT is and always will be my favourite kit... I'm in Australia so sourcing bits and pieces is probably better for locals (and good suggestions have been made).. but don't be scared to have a go yourself Link to comment

Scubacat[TX]
Welcome aboard brother!!! I can't wait to see this build! As always, my house is open to help you in the build. On a side note, my bro here lives in the same state, so no special DL assistance here. Lol. Link to comment
Greido[501st]
Looking forward to seeing your build! Just wanna confirm, the Imperial boots you bought were the 'killer' ones? They're 501st approved? I wanna purchase but don't wanna spend the cash on a non-approved item. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk Link to comment

While no item is automatically 501st approved, from the forum here, and other build groups, many DTs have been approved with the "Killer" boots from Imperial Boots. Just ensure the boots you get, match the CRL description. 1 Link to comment

If you are still looking around for belt components, the Plastic Arms Dealer has one of the best belts out there and it includes everything except for the leather gear. The holster and pouch you can find from A&J Projects and they also do the specialist gear, if that is a route you want to pursue. Just incase you didn't get that information. ? Link to comment
