ran into a problem while getting approved for del the crl is wrong and has the wrong leather straps, anyone else run into this problem in approvals heres what i have and a side by side of the game and crl

Several have.  It is something that is being addressed in an update for clarity (currently in progress but has slowed with most of team occupied with COVID life adjusting).

Right now, the CRL wording states “ribbed leather or leather like material.”. Thats it.  That would be up to your GML to decide...the game shot is most definitely what it should look like BUT the wording is a bit vague at the moment...the pics do show what has been acceptable since the CRL launched.

Those types of straps wont be accepted at all when the update processes and we can get new model pictures.

I think the issue your GML might be having is that though your leather strap has the correct stitching, it looks to be lacking the "ribbing". Yours looks flat where as the CRL and Game look to be raised "ribbing".

Yes it should be, if following the game reference exactly, layered leather strips.

that is jim tripons vest and i got approved by my GML with that

just a quiock note here for anyone that may be reading up on old posts ( like I am) the new DM CRL is live, and it requires structured, layered straps like that shown in the game images.  I believe you can glue strips of leather together with Barge cement to get the required look.
