Carbonized Stormtrooper

I'm half kidding but also half serious about this post. With the recent release of the Hasbro Carbonized Stormtrooper, does that "technically" give us a source to use as a reason to approve a chrome Stormtrooper for 501st? I know this is some hardcore reaching but a man can dream, right?

hey, we have every other color except yellow and brown, for obvious reasons.  Phasma is chrome. Why not. 

 

its just a TK of a different color, sort of like a horse. Of course.

Unfortunately, action figures can't be official sources without other supporting sources. There are a couple exception, but those have a bit of a suspect past.
