Tiderion
I ordered the Jim Tripon kit and am in the process of painting and assembling that, but the one thing he doesn't include is arm bands for the left arm. Does anyone have a source for these other than plastic arms dealer? They want $60 just for this one small feature ($30 plus another $30 for shipping) which feels pretty exorbitant. I'm totally fine with a DIY solution if anyone has any good suggestions. Link to comment
Lt. Dan[501st]
Here´s another vendor who offers them: https://850armorworks.com/Deathtrooper-Rubber-Wrist-Straps-p276306684 DIY is difficult I think, because you need a negative mold to cast the parts. This is only worthwhile in larger quantities. And carving the parts out of the solid might not look great either? 2 Link to comment

I was actually thinking of something far more jury-rigged, like buying black silicone arm bands then splicing as needed. Link to comment

Still expensive for some rubber bands, but much better. Thanks for the info. 1 Link to comment
Chaos[CMD-DCA]
Doesn't Jim's kit already have the band clips molded into the forearm? I know mine had the clips. If that's the case, just get a 4 inch black rubber pipe coupler and cut the 1/2 straps. That is how I did mine. 1 Link to comment

Ok, I saw you say this in another thread, but every time I search for pipe couplers, all I come up with are ones made from PVC, like this: https://www.amazon.com/1605-4-Rubber-Flex-Coupling-Parallel/dp/B00EJW1NEW Do you have a link for what you used? @Chaos Link to comment
Chaos[CMD-DCA]
That's the same, the lettering is only in the one spot, unless you have huge wrists, you won't use the entire band you cut out so the letters never show. Link to comment
