Specialist boot modification

This is basically the look you’re going for.  An exacto knife (being very careful) works to make the cuts. Id recommend sketching in pencil first so u can get the spacing set before cutting.

I purchased my base boot at K-Mart lol. Those stores dont exist anymore though so it wouldnt be available. The main thing you should look for is the sole since you are covering the rest of the boot with with the stretched black marine vinyl.

Something as simple and cheap as this could work:

i wear a very similar boot with a simple black sole. Its also a brahma work boot.
