Hallo zusammen.

Am Wochenende ist es soweit, nach tausenden Änderungen und Versuchen es trag fähig zu halten und trotz allem noch so original getreu zu halten wie es geht, werde ich mein Kostüm fertig stellen. 

Ich werde Fotos machen und Sie hochladen. Ich kann nur allen sagen, die mal vor haben sich so ein Kostüm zu bauen............ es war mit Abstand das anspruchsvollste Kostüm was ich bisher gebaut habe.

Hier liegt der Schwerpunkt wirklich auf Einhaltung der Proportionen ( 1,90m Darktrooper Original Größe) im Bezug der Details und Anpassung an den  Kostümträger. Die Gelenke, Befestigung, bewegliche Mechanik und und ....sind eine wirkliche Herausforderung gewesen.

Aber ich bin meinem Traum, nun nach fast 4 Jahren Arbeitsaufwand und Planung dicht auf der Spur, einen tragfähigen  DARK TROOPER zu bauen und zu tragen.

Ich hoffe das wir allen Anforderungen entsprechen werden und eine Zulassung bekommen.

Und das uns noch viele auf diesem Weg folgen und eventuell man den ein oder anderen auf der STAR WARS CELEBRATION 2027 in LA sehen wird.

So Werkzeug jetzt in die Ecke legen und ab ins Bett, war geung für heute. Morgen geht es weiter .

Posterior Armor

• Gloss black in color.
• Is generally curved to follow and cover approximately ¾ of the wearer’s posterior area which extends up under the belt.
  • There is a raised elongated rectangle located on the top center of the armor.
• A black elastic strap, approximately 1" to 1.25" (25mm to 32mm) wide, may be used to connect the cod and butt plates between the legs.
• Posterior armor may be slightly weathered but must be uniform with the rest of the costume.

There aren't very many good photos from the show, so we may have to just rely on the Hot Toys figure for details.

I'll update the supporting photos when I get home from work today.

• Posterior armor may be slightly weathered but must be uniform with the rest of the costume.
• Is generally curved to follow and cover approximately ¾ of the wearer’s posterior area which extends up under the belt.
  • There is a raised elongated rectangle located on the top center of the armor.
• A black elastic strap, approximately 1" to 1.25" (25mm to 32mm) wide, may be used to connect the cod and butt plates between the legs.

That seems very simple and doesn't need a lot of crazy work to it. We don't need to worry about the channels at the top that are going to covered by the belt. I know you didn't put that in there but I see them on the photos that were provided and wanted to address it for others viewing this.  

I added that text in purple about the guide. I've been including it in every piece, but we may need to revisit at the end to see if it is necessary.

Hier noch ein kleines Wort zu den Gelenken, anders ist es nicht möglich, sie geschlossen aussehen zu lassen und denn noch beweglich zu sein. Das Kostüm ist momentan der Hot Toys Puppe zu 95 % angepasst. 

In der nächsten Woche werde ich es komplett fertig stellen und warte dann auf Eure Anpassungen oder Verbesserungen.

Hallo ,

die Aussage von gestern ist nicht ganz richtig bezüglich der Gelenke, natürlich ist es anders möglich, man könnte sie auch aus Gummi machen oder Drucken.

Evtl. habt ihr da auch Vorschläge oder der ein oder andere Bastler, der sich auch gerade einen bauen baut.

Ich werde jetzt noch Formen bauen und die Seite komplett zu verschliessen. Fotos folgen.

We can move onto the Belt text now!

@Andreas Funk we had made a provision in the text earlier under the Gaskets section to allow for gaskets in lieu of the segmented armor joints and such. This was the text that we used:

Gaskets

• Elbow, wrist, ankle, and knee gaskets (if used in lieu of a segmented armor joint):
  • The gaskets must cover any area not covered by armor.
    • Gaskets may be rubber or a shiny black material with ridges (similar to the TFA Elite Stormtrooper).
    • May have the appearance of being segmented overlapping armor or similar “mechanical” joint in design and color.

OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):

• The elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle joints are segmented overlapping armor or similar “mechanical” joint in design and color.

Hallo alle Dark Trooper Freunde

Meiner Meinung nach sind gerade die Gelenke das wesentliche Merkmal, die das Kostüm ausmachen.

Ohne die Gelenke, die das Kostüm nach meiner Meinung zusammenhalten und die Stabilität des Kostüms herstellen, wird es eine wackelige Angelegenheit.

Ich bin der Meinung, dass wir zu wenig Anforderungen an die Gelenke stellen.

Der Spielraum ist viel zu groß, um dem Dark Trooper gerecht zu werden.

Ich sehe das so, das Gelenke und Dichtungen zusammen gehören, weil sie diese Bereiche abdecken sollen.

Evtl. sollten wir diese Punkte ( Punkt ) noch einmal überdenken.

Considering that the joints were CGI'd, the way you have made your joints works. Impressive craftsmanship. We can fine tune the joints later, but I believe we are at a 98% solution for the joints.

Wenn wir das durch bekommen und es so abgenommen wird, egal in welcher Form die Gelenke oder Dichtungen ( welches für mich beides zusammen gehört) dargestellt werden, bin ich der letzte der Einwände hat.

Hallo Dark Trooper Freunde

Heute ist es vollbracht, mein Dark Trooper ist fertig.

Nach jetzt mehr als 3,5 Jahren habe ich ihn fertig gestellt und hoffe jetzt das wir bald zum Finalen Ende kommen.
