PinkThorn242
So now that I've had to downsize my 3D printer I'm just wondering about STL sets that are already broken up for 200mm printer beds. To that end, has anyone checked the 3Demon files for accuracy? Edited September 24, 2023 by PinkThorn242 typo Link to comment
Blackwatch[CMD-DCA]
no one has answered this so Im assuming that no one has. When you pull the files into your slicer do they look accurate compared to the CRL images? Link to comment
IcyTrooper[CMD-DL]
Thanks @Blackwatch, I had missed this one! @PinkThorn242 if you are able to link the files or paste any renders here that'd help. Link to comment
Sithtrooper[TX]
Hi, don’t use 3Dmon files, they are not suited for wear nor accurate. I started with those… Its gonna be a massive challenge to do this armor without a 400mm printer with all the ribs everywhere i got approved using Akira files, but with massive modification to be CRL accurate and wearable. No files on the market are accurate or ready to wear for Sith trooper unfortunately. Akira won’t modify them, I asked… The helmet itself from Akira is pretty good though, but still need mods to be CRL approved. cheers, 1 Link to comment
