I know crow makes the boots, but research determined these are German navy issue boots, or equivelant. They are a bit chunkier than regular jackboots. They absolutely come up shorter than the IAT/ Andor boot which rises to the knee. Talk to your GML about motorcycle boots, and adding a leather flap and buckle to give the correct look. 

 

I dont understand by the goggles being fixed and unfixed?

for L1 approval the goggles may be removed and worn, but for L2 they need to be permanently fused / mounted / printed on the helmet because on the actual filming prop it was part of the helmet. You can see that some actually had the lens fall out during filming.

ok well I know for sure that I will stay as a basic with a few lvl 2 features after approval, since I definaltey want functional goggles and boots that are not too rare and can fit me.

I don't think so I meant the liner that goes around the helmet but I might use Sean's Muddy-ICAT-Aldani Helmet that already has the liner ingrained so its less of an hassle.

oh you meant the rim that goes all the way around it. Ive used rubber stripping on my other similar helmets in the past (ATST, Army trooper, Sapper, Veers)

Hello Spec Ops,

I have some updates that I want to post as I am still committed to this costume but at a small paste(for the better). This page going forward(I wish I can delete old posts that aren't necessary but I cant) I will begin with assembling the armor part of the costume and as for the weapons they will be separate posts as this will focus primary on the costume itself.

I will leave a list of stuff that I have acquired or will acquire for the IST, along with texts highlighted with links to the source so anyone wont be lost when assembling the costume and grab the correct stuff. All of this couldn't have been done by members of the SpecOps who helped me and a lot of research(no joke).

Soft Goods:

Pants/Tunic/Cap - Haven't Acquired = Jim Tripon contact via email here in the forum.

Horus(PM either 501st or SpecOps forum).

Boots - Semi-Acquired = There are 4 places to get them for either replication or authenticity:

Source I. Hessen Antique here in the US

Source II. Crowprops.

Source III. Horus PM on the 501st forum and/or Spec Ops Forum.

Source IV. Epic Militaria. 

Belt - Haven't Acquired = Debating either between Wampa Wear or DarmansProps who's on Etsy (Please let me know ASAP).

Belt Boxes - Haven't Acquired = Either BaileysBuildsDesigns or Philoprops on Etsy.

Code disks - Haven't Acquired = Either BaileysBuildsDesigns, Philoprops or QuestDesignCanada(All on Etsy but let me know ASAP if questdesigns is a good choice).

Gloves - Haven't Acquired = Ravelgloves on Etsy(Requires hand size and color) they look like the image on the CRL and also a good price.

BigJasoni(Long story but I would say Mudtrooper.co.uk but apparently WIX was charging the owner a high amount to make the website available for everyone to get the files for free.) However, BigJasoni has some of the files in his possession since he made them too, so PM is required.

Note: I only have a few files but I regret deleting some other files(so facepalm and FML moment here) so Please if anyone has the Sean armor files post them here on the forums for the love of god.

Note: Ranging from the DGOL buckles to the metal slide adjuster I have a high quantity and/or amount of those items when they were delivered. However I am willing to sell them off to any members who are doing the Imperial Army/Security Trooper since I don't need a lot of these stuff I received from Amazon.

More to come when I get the chance but this is still good intel for any future IST or IATs but really excited to get this complete. Also since the Spanish are doing the riot shield I will be working on the Baton as I want to use real metal to make it into a prop but a real defense tool. I have a Co-worker who is a welder and will make that possible for me, more posts coming whenever I am not too busy.
