Will button down coveralls work?

Recommended Posts

So I heard a good flightsuit/coverall to get for the imperial army trooper were US army mechanic coveralls.

And there are a bunch of vintage pairs on ebay however they all look to be button down (with 2 or 3 buttons/snaps down the middle) where even the ones with small buttons are someone obvious. Just wondering if these would still work, since the coveralls in the CRL do not have buttons but I don't see any other options at the moment (at least for my size).

I'm hoping to either try to hide the buttons or worst case scenario remove them and switch it to hooks or velcro.

Hello! You would have to remove buttons, but that doesn't seem like it would a hard thing to do and cover up :)

Going back to this original question, for L2 I would want a strip of fabric covering the original button holes. L1 approval with visible button holes would be up to the GML.

I have been on the line with Wampawear this morning to get the olive green (and black) Army coveralls started, but that WILL take time, and a factory time allotment, plus shpping time from overseas. Anyone who has watched the Wampa prototyping/ manufacturing/shipping  process knows that this is not quick.
