Shadow_Bishop
Hey brothers, I'm just starting my journey to joining the 501st and still need to set up a few things before I join and I'll have to wait one more year till I'm 18 to officially join but I plan to enlist as a shadow trooper, I've been saving up and I plan to buy my armour from sheppertons design studios and I wanted to know if their armour is up to standards, for those who don't know shepperton design studios created the molds and armour for all the stormtroopers in the original trilogy movies. Hence why I want to get my armour from them to be as movie accurate as I can even though you don't see shadow troopers, I hope someone can help and may the force be with you all. Link to comment
DoggyDoc[CMD-DCA]
Hello and welcome to spec ops. Awesome that you are building towards approval and can’t wait to see your progress. Know that for the regular stormtrooper armour, the Shepperton designs can be approved but they take a lot of work and modifications to do so. This being said, many find it easier to go with a more accurate kit from one of the other vendors. If someone with more experience on shadow troopers could comment, that would be great. 1 Link to comment
Blackwatch[CMD-DCA]
good morning and welcome! yes, Gerald is correct. Just becase Shep studios made the originals for ANH '77 does not mean its the "most accurate" in 2025. Check out the suppliers list, and keep us up to date on your progress. Link to comment
