Blackwatch[CMD-DCA]
Ok, so here is the base text I plan to work from, I will lean heavily on existing CRLs for the proposal. Ok so two things Id like to point out Snap on the leather belt===maybe it there and Im just seeing it? Im not against it and perhaps its just hidden under a belt box? Which term shall we use for the side skirt armor? Kama, or Tasset? Kama is a Star Wars tradition, Tassets are a hanging thigh armor. Im not stuck on either one. Change log 1.0 Overbelt The belt is constructed from a black white, non-textured leather or a leather-like material. Approximately 2 inches (50.8 mm) in width, up to 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) is acceptable. There are no loops on the belt. The belt has grooves set back 1/8" (2.65mm) from the edges running the length of the belt. A single silver large snap or rivet is visible approximately 1" (25.4 mm) from the buckle It is preferred to wear the snap to the left of the wearer, unless emulating a specific licensed character. The buckle is constructed from a horizontally brushed metal, or metal looking material. The buckle size is approximately 2 ⅛" (66.7 mm) high and 4 ⅛" (104.5 mm) wide with 0.5" (12.7 mm) radius rounded corners. Buckle is adorned with an un-notched Imperial Code Disk with no grooves at the center. The belt may be worn with the snap to the right or left of the buckle. Two gunmetal grey Rogue One style belt boxes are worn on either side of the buckle. A pill shaped indent in the top of the belt box is permitted. Please refer to the Imperial Buckle reference page for information on accurate and inaccurate style buckles. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Belt is made of leather. Snap is worn to the left of the wearer, unless a specific licensed character is emulated. Buckle has a slight horizontal curve. Belt is smooth with no grooves or extra embellishments on the belt strap. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Belt has undyed raw leather edges. Belt is lightly stained/ weathered. Underbelt The underbelt consists of a heavy, grooved rubber strap similar to floor runner. The grooves run vertically. The belt is approximately 2" (50mm) wide with grooves approximately 1/16"-1/8" wide. The belt features five boxes. The boxes appear to be split horizontally, and appear to be inset into a base slightly larger than the box. 1 longer drop box on the right side of the belt. The lower section of the box is seperated and may be hinged. 4 rectangular boxes worn at the center of the belt. Boxes shall be painted white and should be weathered. Belt shall be worn loosely across lower abdomen. Two flexible hip tassets hang from the sides of the belt mounted to the inside of the belt. The tassets are leather or smooth vinyl. Vinyl with a embossed pattern is incorrect. The tasset covers the sides of the wearers' thighs, starting near the front of the leg and ending near the wearers bottom. A seam is visible along the edges of the tasset. 2 angled stitched lines form a loose V shape on the tasset. The underbelt terminates at the wearers back under a white trapezoid shaped box. The box has a face plate the same shape, but smaller with a white imperial code disc without grooves or notch. The trapezoid shaped box at the back of the belt is weathered to match the rest of the belt boxes. Link to comment
kwdesigns[501st]
Yes the upper belt does have the side button. I would clarify that there is a groove at the top and bottom full length of the white leather belt. Both the top and bottom edge and face side is white with some light weathering. The officer belt boxes are cast not metal with a recessed pill shape at the top. They are painted gunmetal gray matching the chest buckles also painted gunmetal gray., also, they left and right leather skirts are fixed to the inside of the upper white belt with Velcro. A “V notch” groove borders, the edges. Also a “V notch” groove creates the triangular shape on front and back lower corners. The top of the triangle meets the bottom of the upper white belt. A center side overlay creates a more tapered shape and the seam is visible on the upper half on each side. The over lay folds towards the back, creating a difference between left or right side skirts. Link to comment
kwdesigns[501st]
Black Flexible Lower Belt. Rubber belt has vertical sharp peeked ribbed design. Four cast square shaped stepped blocks with upper groove in each are evenly spaced and affixed with screws. On the Right side only has a different rectangle box and a lower square box , both with smooth rounded edges. Screws and washed are used to affix the cast boxes to the black ribbed rubber belt. A Large Rear trapezoid block with two levels, sharp edges and a circular three layered disc on center, is where the rubber belt is adjusted to fit. Link to comment
