pyro[TX]
I found the base for the chest comm and decided to order it instead of printing it. I have the add ons already printed aswell. for the second black belt. Is it leather or another material? Edit: It looks like the mud trooper belt but with different boxes? I’m not very familiar with the mud trooper so I might be mistaken and I am still researching the boots 2 Link to comment
pyro[TX]
I’ve identified the gloves as the ones that the Shoretroopers use and I happened to own a pair so I have that and the hand plates printed. Also have the belt leather, the white dye (will be here tomorrow), the chest comm base (on order). The comm add ons printed and the right shoulder currently printing. 1 Link to comment
Deamos
Following your build but a quick question, looking at some hires screen caps the back plate looks to me to be more Shoretrooper than mud as it's missing a few nobbles above the recessed areas. Do you see the same or am I imagining it 🙂 Oh and awesome find on the radio files - waiting for my mic to turn up today. Link to comment
pyro[TX]
I have both versions of the backplate so whatever looks correct I’ll print Link to comment
Deamos
Cool - Can't wait to see yours completed as I start my journey on this one. Link to comment
pyro[TX]
Got my white leather dye in the mail today and my right shoulder has finished printing. It came out great! Link to comment
Deamos
Quick question on your take on the white belt if you don't mind... Is it just a belt or a wrap around band on top of a white short length Kama? Most of the guys look like they have the little "skirts" as part of that belt with the Imp buckle in the middle. Then the black belt over the top and drooping around the waist. Link to comment

The Kama will be velcro to the inside of the white belt. The black belt looks to be a black stormtrooper belt with the belt boxes added to it. Link to comment
pyro[TX]
Ok I stand corrected, its not a shadow trooper belt. Its a blcak nylon belt. How does this look for that belt? Link to comment

I’d have to rewatch those episodes, but I thought it looked like a white variant of Shoretrooper kit - armor (different forearms), belt, belt boxes, hip-plates. Maybe take a look at those CRLs for belt ideas? Link to comment
pyro[TX]
The shore belt is not the black belt, the shore belt is two belts sewed together and the pic it’s clearly one belt. Link to comment
Tal Skirata[TX]
The belt is actually a strip of ribbed rubber not nylon, the greebs are entirely new pieces, Kama is new, it doesn’t share any parts with the shoretrooper that I recall Link to comment
Deamos
I'm with Pyro on the Nylon as it looks more free flowing in the way it hangs and moves onscreen over a stiffer rubber, even if really thin. Took a stab at prototyping the belt boxes too - tested on a 2" webbing belt to try and gauge the size of the belt. 1 Link to comment
Tal Skirata[TX]
I have hands on time with the real belts as I was a member of the costume department on both seasons of Andor, they’re a very thin rubber or rubber like material 2 Link to comment
pyro[TX]
Got both shoulders and and the front half of the left bicep printed, They back part should be done tonight then I'll start on the chest. I will be ordering a pre-dyed white leather belt and add the groves to it, since they dye job I was going to do failed. 2 Link to comment
DarthBerry[501st]
Nice work! I just finished off my first attempt at modeling the forearm, you can download it at the link below. If somebody takes the time to get high quality screenshots, I'd be happy to revise the file accordingly, but it looks pretty okay to me. I figured whoever would print it would want to glue on a functioning wrist flashlight (I think that's what's above the comm pad). https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7049441 Also, I don't think its exactly the shoretrooper bicep - its seems to me that it has an extra angle on the bottom, going from the middle "ridge" extending outwards on one half. One you find a good screenshot showing it, you can just use your Shore files in a slicer to print the extension. If you have some dimensions, I can design the boot armor and reverse belt buckle. 2 Link to comment

pyro[TX]
But I am betting that the final ruling will be the rubber belt as that’s more accurate to the show. Link to comment
