MbIAT[TX]
Sorry Beau, I'm in that club too. Close to home, physically or emotionally, always hits harder. For Medic weapons, the comics show them using the E-11 and wearing the TK Belt, so at a base I'd say that. However I'd embrace the holstered SE-14 as it leaves the medic's hands free to do treatments, either in a standard officer holster, the flapped ones seen in the comics, or even Subner's as it is seen in the comics? 1 Link to comment
Blackwatch[CMD-DCA]
Paul we would need a visual proposal, so yes go ahead and start what you feel is the correct orientation based on our discussions here. Just know going it it may or may not be approved for use by the LMO , or parts of it may. Per the box, simpler is better. Once you have your set up worked up give us four view photos so staff can see it. 1 Link to comment
MbIAT[TX]
Fair enough. I'll hope to have a prototype done up next week, but I'll have to wait until the name tape arrives for the final pictures. I'll keep everyone in the loop! 1 1 Link to comment
MbIAT[TX]
Sorry for the delay, I had to order in the small pouches. Please see attached pictures - I just did close ups of the belt as the rest of the costume is the same. Pouches Four pouches, two per side. Seen empty here, they would be filled up in finished version. SAW pouch on 3D-printed modified MOLLE drop panel on left hip. In the next version I'll likely heat it and curve it to better fit my body. Patches (picture from supplier) Both patches are a darker olive drab (I've bought from him before) and the blue is a darker colour as well - he says the picture was taken on his workbench under high lighting. He made two samples, one with the medical sigil (I didn't know he even had that ability) and medic, and one with just medic. Love to hear your thoughts! 1 Link to comment
Blackwatch[CMD-DCA]
Pual thanks so much for getting that done. Yeah the sigil is just another SVG file and the embroidery machine doesnt know it from any other shape. My wife has a ten needle Ricomah and it will do all this, it just takes the digitiization of the image you want, in this case the Medic Corps sigil and the aurbesh text which is a TT font that can be loaded as a SVG. I llove the drop on the saw pouch I guess our next step is a full set of CRL proposal photos, and I would at least temporarily mount both of the tapes to the uniform with spray bond adhesive like a heavy basting spray. I imagie the blue and the tape are what the USAF used to use on BDUs when I was in. Link to comment
MbIAT[TX]
Ok, sounds good. I'll order those tapes and when they come in I'll do up full proposal photos like I see in the CRLs. 1 Link to comment
