Not so much a build at this point in time, I’ve cleared V1, will be going on to do V2 here soon as well as working on my goggles for the mina rau variant.

Strange to be joining the ranks I helped create.

yanno-I totall see how you feel! I wrote the CRLs for Del and the Army troopers, and I never actually thought I would be joining either one, but here I am workign on stuff for Sergeant Gharial and for Del! 

 

In your experience were the goggles smaller than seen on the helmets or were they baicially the same item in size and scale? We have had some preliminary discussion on it, but not got to them yet. 

Personally I love the look of google on caps. I know it skeeves some people, but it reminds me of ally my WWII research as a model builder. In the US Army in the 80s we had them issued to us but unless we were at the National Training Centr or doing helicopter Rearm and Refuel we rarely wore them.

They’re definitely smaller, I don’t know exactly what size they ended up going with but the initial discussions were about 10% smaller.

aha so thats something we would love your commentary on when we get to that part of the CRL were developing.

I just got a pair for remnant build and the normal size is way too big . Was so bummed when I tried them on with my hat but alas they will fit fine on a helmet

I THINK most likely just running it up under the back flap would hold it but having a stitch would keep it from popping off.
