  1. That red armour looks awesome! Congrats on your approval.
  2. Congrats Torri! I hope you and your dad have a great time in the parade.
  3. Many thanks Jason. I'll try and look into the Krylon paint. I wish these paint companies offered the same colors everywhere and not limited to certain countries. I'm already have trouble getting hold of claret wine for my son's galactic marine build. Anyway mate, I appreciate the help! Can't wait to see more pictures. Cheers, Scott.
  4. Hi Jason, Can you tell me what was the color and brand of paint you used? Also the color of the vinyl you are using? I can get rustoleum in Australia, but the only green I have found so far is meadow green. Cheers, Scott.
  5. Excellent Jason. I'm eager to see your build as I plan to start one of these soon.
  6. All good things come to those who wait, and waiting for approval was the longest week of my life. Do you have pictures with the green lens? It would look pretty cool.
  7. Well done! That's some good looking armour.
  8. Hi Gene, just wondering how your build is going? Any photo's to add?
  9. A good looking suit of armour, Lance. I've trimmed my thigh's 3 times and I still think I could take a tad more off. You've done a great job with yours!
  10. Wow! Gee I'm gobsmacked. Brilliant photo's and your DLT-19. I'm jealous as I'm still waiting for mine.
  11. Good Luck Torri! Your build looks terrific.
  12. Cheers, Guy's! Maybe we need to change our motto to Swift, Silent, Relentless and Shiny.
  13. Gotta, love that black look! Well done on a fantastic build and congrats on your approval. Welcome brother!
  14. Keep up the good work Torri! Your almost there and I now how you feel. My wife sewed the pattern leather material straight to the canvas belt. I also used a tip from Tekket and put grease proof paper over the material to help stop the needle from sticking to the material. I don't know if you are using the same material but using the paper was a godsend. Just a bit time consuming pulling the paper out of the stiches.
  15. I'll apply for specialist when my DLT-19 turns up. Thanks Mr Blue Steel!
  16. TX-10066 reporting for duty! Thanks to everyone for their help and support. And finally a little time to break out the Hag!
  17. Very impressive and your right it has paid off. Anyway what's life without risk, a pretty boring one.
  18. Well done mate! I can't wait to see the end result. Plus I'm liking that CAP helmet. Good luck with your approval.
  19. Thanks Torri. I think I'm 98% happy with my thighs but I do need to adjust my right shoulder bell again. I went thru Dizzy's tutorial and removed most of my return edge on my cod. This has given me a lot more movement. Unfortunately I snapped the top section at the rear of my calves, which resulted in me in having to notch these. I didn't want to do this as I think it looks ugly, but once again I have gained even more freedom movement. So all I need to do is fix my troublesome right should bell and attach the holster and I should be ready to submit.
  20. Looking good Torri. I think we need to add the shorts to the CRL.
