Hey if it was cheep and it can be fixed then I say why not. I was in the same problem with an eBay one when I first started but it was not a recast. It was just a really old and beat up kit that was way too big for my frame and things had been done to it to where I could not change it.

When you assemble your armor, keep in mind about heat. I have come across the problem of my armor heating up too much in the sun and then breaking the seals with E6000. I switched to CA glue from Hobby Town and haven't had a problem since.

I have to agree on the idea of a 360 reference. We have a great snow scout or two here in the Mountain Garrison. I feel that as long as there is a really good reference, even if it is one or three, and the builder/member is willing to go the extra length, then the costume should be approved.
