  1. Ok, ammo belt is now riveted as well. And now I never want to rivet ever again. XD
  2. These were my first rivets in my entire life......lol.
  3. More progress! Snaps, pics, then the wait for approval!!!
  4. Ok, yeah that is what I was planning. Thanks for the advice! It will be a while before I get all of the parts and such.
  5. Ok, so for my next build I have already started to gather parts for a shadow scout but I wanted to get some extra parts so that I could also do a general weir build. I have spoken with a builder and it should be easy enough. I am going to have them customize the build so that the t-bits are magnetic so that I can switch them out and I will have separate belt parts. I also have a way to switch out the visors. I will put up pics of the parts as soon as I get time tomorrow. I will also be putting up pictures of my final finishing steps for my shadow stormtrooper. I have been on three troops with it for test runs and now I know what I have to do to it to fix a few trouble spots. Snaps are amazing by the way! What I need to know, is this acceptable to do to be approved? I know what the differences are and I am trying to make it so that I keep my costs down. Also other than the red belt v, bandoleers, tk neck seal, red visor, and red t-bits, are there any other differences that I am missing between General Weir and the shadow scout?
  6. Build is looking great so far! It was a hard choice for me to choose between shadow scout and this build.
  7. Oooo! This already looks interesting!
  8. Sweet Jesus! This is awesome! I can't wait to see it in the CRLs!
  9. I think we need to have a dance off now.
  10. Yeah I have been trying to follow this video so that everything is in order. Going to try to take pics as soon as I am finished for approval. Also need to shine it up and such. Going to go your route. Seems the easiest and best I have seen so far.
  11. Yeah. I have a few problems with my armor but it is slowly getting worked out. Need to get some more strapping so that it does not shift as much in some areas.
  12. Hey Dizzy! I may need some of your guru help. I want to put snaps on my armor but I am wondering if I should have double snaps in some areas for extra security. I really love the clam shell idea as well and I think I am going to go that route. I might ask for a few pictures just to make sure they are in the right area.
  13. Ok, time for the last bits and snaps to be put together. Got a new under armor combo so that it does not hand so loosely on my body. Also have snaps that I am putting on. Going to close the drop boxes and hopefully get a material to cover my belt in the shiny material. Going to try to paint my pauldron. Got my BFG that is a sci-fire DLT 19. I am going to try to go for specialist if there is anything else needed. Snaps are proving to be a bit of a problem though. I am not sure where exactly I need them but I am going to try to place them in the right areas for comfort and approval.
  14. Ok, so I finally got my neck seal and holster and I have put together my armor to at least try it out but nothing is permanent at this point. I have been to two troops to see if anything was too big or if it would fall apart......I am having trouble with the shoulder bells and the cod piece staying put but other than that all is pretty good and snug. Here ate the pics from those troops. Sorry if any of them are a little fuzzy.
  15. This is awesome! XD Can't wait to have some videos like this of my own!
  16. DIZZY! YOU ARE A GENIUS AND YOU ARE AMAZING! This has helped me more than anyone else so far!
  17. Awesome! I will be getting parts over time. Really concentrating on my shadow trooper right now.
  18. When we do decide on a name, I would love to help give it a good one! This would be one project I would love to see built!
  19. Nice work and good luck on your approval! I can also see the light at the end of my tunnel!
