  1. It is not constant in the drawings, but we do have some references that indicate that design in the lines of the chest.
  2. That was one of the doubts I always had. Indeed in all the references they are black. On the cover of issue #60 they look blue, but the design is different. So I thought that in the drawings they look black due to the laziness of the cartoonist. ? It might be an option to add LV1 and LV2 on this. From the beginning I thought it could be a hard shell. It is difficult to know what material it really is. For ease I built it in foam. Even so, lined with the faux leather fabric is not as flexible, so it does the job. I must say that if it were a solid piece, mobility would be complicated.
  3. It is not necessary to apologize, on the contrary, to thank for the effort and work that you dedicate to the detachment. About this, as Raider wrote it, I think it's okay. There is a bit of difficulty to make it bright. But if you consider a bit of flexibility with this topic. For LV1 it would be an aqua or light blue "screen". And in LV2, an aqua or light blue "illuminated screen". But I repeat, I think that a bright screen with the colors already mentioned should be necessary for LV1.
  4. We can actually do it either way, I think, it works. In other CRL I have seen these two ways when mentioning some item that is attached to a piece of armor. I mentioned them in the text of the armor piece that they are attached respectively, perhaps for ease of understanding what that accessory has there. About the straps, it is complicated, because the reference is a cartoon. I assume that everything related to pouches is leather or similar to leather because most items of this type in other suits are made of that material, but if someone argues that it is elastic, I cannot contradict it.
  5. Hello all! A little change to the lightsaber. To make it look a bit more accurate. I widened the main hilt a bit and reduced the blade emitter New / Reference / Old
  6. Hola Jose, saludos. Crees que en algún momento tendrás a la venta esos archivos? Me gustaría en algún momento trabajar una armadura de estas. Excelente trabajo.
  7. Sounds good. Yes, the shoulder straps have nothing visible to hold them. The chest armor is the one that does have notable variations compared to a regular TK.
  8. And, it's ready. I really needed that fix. Compared to version 1, the change is very noticeable. Ok, So, I look forward to any other details to fix as the CRL text is written. Thanks!!
  9. This is a great idea. I could not find anything similar to this product here. I avoid cracks in my abdomen because I have a fiberglass base inside, but it makes the piece heavier. Still, I do not 100% prevent that at some point I have cracks due to trooping. These mods are not made by many people, you are already brave modifying this armor. Vas muy bien, sigue adelante.
  10. I used the same materials from version 1. I simply changed the method of gluing the faux leather to the foam mold. I stretched the faux leather on the table, and fastened the corners with tape, the piece well stretched. Then I glued the foam mold and used a wooden board to press it while drying the glue. Which, distributed well throughout the mold so as not to have air bubbles. After drying the glue, I glued the inside edges. now i am giving it the curved shape after gluing the black inner fabric liner. If everything is looks good, it would be necessary to adhere the magnets and the Imperial cog.
  11. Working on pauldron V2. I think I´m getting better results.
  12. lol ?, you just noticed that. After fixing the orange pauldron or any other improvement that I need to make, I take new photos.
  13. Thanks you have helped me a lot. And I hope you are in good health, that you finish recovering well. Point 1, I agree I am not happy with that finish, I can correct it these days. In point 2, about the snaps, I used them, based on these images: In the same way, if you consider that it is best to paint them black, no problem. So I'm waiting for any help you need, I'll try to fix the orange pauldron for a smoother finish . Thanks!!!
  14. Any help or action that I should do, correct something, take extra photos, let me know. Thanks.
  15. Well, first version finished. I hope this costume is 501st quality, I try my best not to just cosplay. Any detail that needs to be corrected, changed, replaced, any improvement. Just tell me. Gracias por la ayuda.
  16. Boots arrived today. This sunday I take the photos. Crossing fingers so that everything looks good. lol
  17. I don't know if I shouldn't write here, please delete the post if it is. I took the liberty of writing a CRL proposal. Maybe it will work to start this job. I had never written a CRL, in addition to the fact that English is not my native language, I apologize for any grammatical errors that you may find. Some parts are difficult to describe in Spanish for me, and in English even more?. But I think that with this progress we can start. You can see the Word document that I have been working on here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pRqNhCQ5ZYg099BH0WsInf1UCeIhspw-?usp=sharing
  18. Ok, great. Last question. In the CRL and New Costume Survival Guide, there are a few steps, specifically for New to the Legion Costumes (NTTL). talks about emailing the LMO with certain information. That is until the possible CRL is ready?
  19. Right, I think the same. It could just like they do in the Sith Lords CRL. The character is characterized by carrying a lightsaber. It's one of the things that makes it different, in my opinion. ? ________ The boots are on the way, so I'm almost ready for the first "suit up". After uploading the photos, I am open to any correction or improvement that I may need to make. The goal is that all this work serves to create a CRL of the character. So then I need some help or guidance on the steps to follow.? Soon the latest update.
  20. A detail that I forgot to mention in my previous post. It is the way the saber is worn. References give zero details. Just a little hook or ring, I don't know how to tell. We only see a small piece of metal. lol To secure the saber well, I thought about this grip system. I'm going to paint it silver or even chrome. Sew it to the belt, revealing only a small section but enough to remove or place the saber. _______________ 04/17/2021 Installed the way to carry the saber. _______________ 04/18/2021 A small detail in the way of holding the pouch strap.
  21. Thanks. I agree with the details you mention. I have in mind to order this saber on a custom lightsaber site, with the blade and sounds, there if I will be more detailed. In Sith Lord CRLs, the saber is required, on the other hand, characters that use a lightsaber, like Pre Vizla who has the Dark Saber, is optional, the Hero Tk have an optional lightsaber as well. I don't know what will be the right thing to do with this character. I personally think that it should be required because it is characteristic of the character, but it must be analyzed.
  22. Lightsaber Hello all!! Unlike the blaster, the lightsaber is necessary in a possible CRL. These are the two best references we have. To get started with this job, I bought a Kenobi saber, 3d printed as a base. Let the fun begin! First modification, I need this piece to be thicker. I place 4 layers of ABS plastic, and shape it with the dremmel. Bondo and sandpaper Finally, the painting More bondo and modifications to other pieces, sand and paint: I got this finish Next to my Darth Vader fx saber And compared to the best reference drawing. What do you think?
