Are you still looking for some mirrowed lenses Carlos?!
-
You deifnetly made some progress on your build. The armor looks good. I agree whith what the guys mentioned before. The poches should be moved towards to the sides. The cummerbund stichtings must be seen in the center. Try to move the pouches as far as possible to the sides of the chest armor.
-
Good' n' fast built. Let us know when you get feedback from your GMO's You definetly should head for specialist.
-
When I do pouches, I try to make them proportional to the wearer and it's armor. As you said, there are too many scouts with pouches which are far too big for them.
-
For all body sizes the same pouch size?! I find the size is for some costumes too big. Especially for slim and small people?! The stitching of the cummerbund is coverd very easily. When I'm doing pouches I try to make them proportional to the rest of the costume/to the wearer. Till now thos worked perfect for me.

welcome to our Spec Ops family brother

Yep its the 3M Bolts In germany the set is around 15€ I looked up this link but I'm sure you can get it also elswhere: https://www.amazon.com/3M-Speedglas-Headband-Mounting-04-0067-00/dp/B008LZBW12

The belt sits a little bit too high on your hips in my opinion, coupd be moved down only hapf an inch. Yeah you are right the padding looks a bit slim. But the rest looks good so far. Good srart
-
The proper bolts which are keeping the visor up by it selfe are from 3M ...I'll look up the link for that and will pass it up to you imediately. Chefs bolts are a little bit too week so you always have to hold the visor up by hand.

Ahwwww one more shadow scout! Nice! .. Looking forward reading of your progress

I wonder if the pouches and the pauldron are worth a crl update as optional accessories?! ...I have to talk to the crl-team about that. I wear a separate neckseal over the flightsuit and under the flak vest. Its additional to the baklava which I also wear. Since I made the flightsuit by myselfe I constructed the pattern around the neck and for the collar very slim and thight, so I can wear that too. But for specialist its not allowed (normaly) The flightsuit for my guy, who has a regular biker, is not constructed so thight at the collar, so he can't wear the neck seal.

hey guys n gals recently I found an interesting pic with all the different trooper variants ...it took me a second glance to see this so I decided to give it a try what ya guys thinking?! I didnt find any other reference on this look, so I wonder if this is worth an update. At least I find it looks definetly bad ass <3

Basicly it has been answered you find it mentioned and better defined in the level 2 section: For level two certification (if applicable): Film-accurate snout detail and aerator with accurate parts, mounted onto a plate and painted a contrasting Black to the Armour.
-
Sounds like a good start. Keep us posted on your build and let us see some pic's. If you have any questions or issues, just let us know. I'm looking forward having a new future dark scout brother
-
Wookie height ...made my day ...bahahhaaaa best descrition ever. You are lucky you can use your own flight suit, otherwise you could use jim"s as a straightjacket
-
The best thing is unpacking the armor ....still remember unpacking mine. My heart was jumping up and down.
-
...at least the shadow scout helmet made it to a "5 sec. movie star" in rogue one
-
Hi Larry, welcome to spec ops and the darkest of the dark side first of all. As already said before, even if the shadow ist not movie canon its canon. Feel free to do what you like and feel good with . By my experience, shadows are always warm welcome by fans and the 501st crowd. They adore the different look of regular scouts and tk's and tend to call us all Vader Keep us posted with your progress and costume building when you are finally starting.
-
...but asking my personal opinion full black looks most bad ass
-
As Sall and Reto said already said full black decals but dark grey is also acceptable due to CRL's. Armor and helmet can be either glossy or matte satin finished Helmet For 501st approval: Eye lens is black, dark green or a silver mirrored. Helmet may have scout detailing or left plain. If detailing is present it is black or dark gray. Licensed helmets are acceptable with modifications: Any deformation of helmet shape (helmet flare) is corrected. Eye lens opening is widened and lens is replaced with a darker transparent material. Remove the manufacturer logo. Remove "fish-hook" logo Replace stock bolts with flat-disc "elevator" bolts. Replace inaccurate aerator. Repaint to match the armor. For level two certification (if applicable): Film-accurate snout detail and aerator with accurate parts, mounted onto a plate and painted a contrasting Black to the Armour. Film-accurate squared emblem located on the left faceplate "blinder" Film-accurate helmet snout/aerator detail, mounted onto a plate and painted a contrasting black to the helmet Film-accurate rear helmet "bar code" striping pattern No mesh in ears. Black material to be added inside to create depth, or painted. Properly shaped ear holes are present. Decals or painted areas contrast the rest of the helmet.

Ouhhh I'm looking forward seeing your soft parts. I know it"s hard to keep the motivation but the goal is everything which counts The first lid is always tough

We have to get one of these computer game development guys. He has to change that issue. Never the less, this black siren armor is on my list (with all the other ones I'm in love with) ...I think the DLT got me on this one
