  1. Very true. I sent Paul at TRamp a print of the DLT19x scope awhile ago. Hoping he can work one of his displays, maybe a bigger display into it. Not heard back since. Will chase him up about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. No problem. I managed to download it to the files section on my iPhone from Dropbox. Thx, they sound great Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Playing great on my iPhone 6👠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. thx buddy. Need some of that motivation myself lately. Need to get some paint on some parts. The electrics are Gona be very similar to Tom Campbell's for now, however there is possibly a change happening in the UKG about blaster electronics being allowed so might look at TRamps blastfx kit going into this 😎 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Spent a good part of today coating thighs and E11d with spray putty and then sanding again. My reprinted thighs are getting there. I reduced the print files to 95% width and depth from the original and left the height the same. Still getting some rub in the middle but far better than the original thighs. Not used any resin on the outside so kept the nice details as well Been working on my E11d printed parts from toms files. Loving the size of this blaster over the blaster from Roman. They are very diff in size. TDK has a lot more parts, which means a lot more work but it is a lot more solid feeling. Being able to print it myself means I can increase infill/ strength in certain places where needed and reprint any problem parts. Hope to put lights in so spent a bit of today working on acrylic. I have bought small sample sheets of red and yellow. Don't need much. Managed to get the curve into the yellow nicely. Cut a piece of yellow 25mm wide with my dremel Put the oven on and heated to gas mark 6. Put piece of acrylic in for 10-15mins. Once out I shaped it around a piece of pvc pipe that matched the curve of the piece it needs to sit in Then just trimmed it to fit. Looks like it will work great. Cut the red piece for the hengstler also Need to speed this up. I want to take down the spray booth and get my garden back 😠especially as it is getting colder and darker in evening which is when I am mainly able to work on build Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Sounds good thx dude. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thought I would share an update. Build ongoing etc. Paint soon hopefully. Picked up the ejection seat buckles from a fellow UK DT builder Another UKG trooper has started offering fan kits and I needed one for my Tk lid as well as the DT so I bought two from him. He does a standard kit and also custom kits for biker scouts and smaller kits where space is limited. Well, having an anovos means all space is a premium. I got his XS kit which is all prewired and assembled. 50mm fans. Small switch pack. Velcro pads supplied. I stuck Velcro to the back of the switch pack and with the anovos lining was able to fine tune placement. Do t get me wrong, there is not a lot of room in there but it all fits and the fans are strong! For anyone interested he can be found on FB as troopacoola Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Great progress mate. Yea, that bit was a separate part in my kit that was included Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Great progress mate. It's coming together nicely Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Think u are doing a good job mate. Working with 3d printed armour is proving to be more of a challenge than I expected. U have prob seen my build where I have reinforced problem areas with plasticard on the back. Seems to work very well. I cut it to size and superglue it on. Then resin/fibre matting over that. Keep doing what u are doing. We are Gona get there 😠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thx mate. I am thinking resin on the inside. I may do fibre glass matting but it will prob will snag my undersuit. Was thinking of doing it and then spray coating with plastidip possibly. They are a pretty close fit so I don't have a great amount of wiggle room. I already reduced my space by reinforcing the back of the ribbed sections with plasticard as they are so fragile 🙄 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So working on thighs and one slipped out of my hand [emoji30]and hit the floor I repaired it with superglue and then plasticard cut to shape and glued across the crack point from behind. These thighs will be the death (trooper) of me. They are such a weak spot. I have decided to glue in the ribbed inserts now. I have used E6000 to hold them in. This one I did yesterday and removed the clamps tonite. Straight away they are so much stronger and look much better Next thigh is glueing now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Good to see progress happening. Keep at it mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Another link for the swivels. Takes a while for delivery https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/253105586071 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Not got to that stage yet but it's in the crl I think isn't it? "It is held in place by one or two black elastic cord straps". I hadn't thought how I was going to attatch them so Hopefully someone will reply with what they did 👠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Thx man. Little side project going on at moment also 😎 prob a bit to neat and "straight" for screen accuracy but it's a free file on thingverse. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Dlt19x picked up today from my prop guy who has done the paint and weathering. Really happy with it and glad I spent those many hours sanding all the print lines I could Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. nice. Just keep on him tho. If he gives u a timescale be sure to keep nudging him if/when he doesn't stick to it 🙄 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Yea buddy that's the ISD one. It's the last one he is making for awhile. ISD is closed for awhile now and reopens in November in a diff name. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Pauldron arrived today. Pretty much got all I need now. Just need more hours in the day 🙄 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I feel your pain mate. My thighs parts broke in the same place and so did the chest piece. I have reprinted my chest anyways and reinforced the same area with plasticard and fibreglass. Totally with you on the progress side. Spent 3 hours filling and sanding the other day and had nothing to show for it it felt like. My fingers are killing me! Interesting what u say about the early file versions. I have Armoryshop armour but also have toms files and saw the mods he did to the ab plate. Wondered why that was. Keep the faith mate. I have started to make a list of parts I have finished (ready for paint). The list is slowly getting bigger 😠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Pouches coloured in with black sharpie Helmet finished fully printing. Done as a side project for now, to tinker with when I get sick of sanding armour. A nervous 70 hour print but got there. Top needs some work sanding/filling where the main support was Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Main helmet part is on the printer now 😎 3 days to go 😩😳 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Thx buddy. Yea quite possibly. I got to take it to a seamstress to hopefully tweak and could prob do with having less material there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Had a suit up today ( as it is my birthday) to see how the new sized chest piece is. I also have rescaled and sized the collar parts as the ones denis did were way to big and made the chest and back sit to far apart from each other. I am real happy with how it sits now. I am having issues with the shoulder bells and biceps rotating but I will work these things out Need to get the undersuit to a tailor also for fine adjustments. To much left over material in the back and the neck and also the two ribbed bits that come over the shoulders need securing with some Velcro or a snap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
