  1. Yeah I´m all set for halloween and thank you! Now I must try my patience....it`s gonna be a long wait even if it only takes a couple of days (but it can take weeks )
  2. Chilling in the sun after completed mission But always ready for deployment!
  3. So..started working in the kit today, painted the TD and got off to a good start then started to remove the trim and to my surprise it went easier than I thought with minimum need to use of the knife.. And now I started to feel kinda stupid...It looks better without the trim.... and finally...having the feeling I jinxed it in the beginning...sure enough I cracked open the coverstrip on the last piece so reglueing at the moment... But...overall I`m very happy I made the effort and I will suit up tomorrow instead A big THANK YOU to Dorothy and Steve for the "kick in the but"
  4. I`ve been looking at the Battlefront trooper and it`s really cool, I really like the blue tubestripes and the cog on the chest but....I don`t like the fused butt/kidney plate....I disslike it more than I like having the trim.....so tomorrow the knife comes out and the trim comes off
  5. You guys really motivated me to get approval so I have sent my application to the Nordic Garrison (I`m from Sweden) and I will remove the cog, paint the TD and take submission pics tomorrow and send it in and see what happens And......as I`m going to be a member of the Nordic Garrision I think it`s only proper that I change my forum name to "The Swede" If the trim becomes an issue then I will transform to a battlefront trooper...I really worked hard to get the ammo pouches a part of the CRL (very proud of that ) so I´ll try the shadow-route first...and on the subject, Steve, the belt picture is not updated And again, thanks for your support :thanks:
  6. The cog and TD are easy fixes but the trim is "zap-a-gaped".....however, you can hardly see it so perhaps it will work anyways...?
  7. Thanks and I might do it further down the road but for now I will stay Rogue I`m currently waiting for 2 Brown boxes from Anovos, one for a OT TK (ANH) and one to make into a hybrid commander/shocktrooper (got the commander helmet last week and the armor should have been shipped but it got delayed..again! And..awesome Magma Trooper on your part!
  8. Status is non-approved....due to personal preference, the cog on the chest, rubber trim around the edges and the silver TD so...
  9. Ready to serve! Awaiting deployment orders
  10. Bought a military sniper-case for the armor, kinda proper for a stealthtrooper painted it black and pimped it out a bit , not finished yet but think it will work just fine and everything but the helmet fits nicely inside
  11. Thanks and yeah the picture isn't great but...the gap is a bit bigger on the right side
  12. Tweeked the shoulders some more, not 100% symetrical but.... the pauldron will hide it so I'll leave it as is for now. Waiting for the magnets to complete the calves 👌
  13. Yeah I was thinking about the FX bells, they are bigger but then it would be a mix and eehhh....don`t like that so I`ll just work with what I have...and as I said I really appreciate everyones suggestions, it`s a big part of the fun in doing this build, that you all take the time to look and help
  14. Thanks for the suggestions ....back to chest are canvas straps from trooperbay, they are quite rigid..I`m going to swap to more heavy duty elastic and try a little patience as suggested by Kylorick and if that doesn`t work then try webbing....lower bell elastic are as tight as can be and I already removed all of the return edge. The bells sit really tight on my shoulders so in order to get a perfect fit I may have to use "the heat" but that will be my last resort...I made them as big as possible (cutting outside the trim line on the sides) but I have broad shoulders.....looking at the picture, the left one is really close to the shoulder bridge and there`s still gap to the chest and looking closely you can see the edge of the bell digging into the "meat"....maybe I just have to live with some gap....The twisting bicep is not an issue per say but more me putting it on wrong I think cause the right bell didn`t stand out as much on previous fittings.....I really appreciate you guys helping me (gotta run for the buss)
  15. I´ll have another fitting (loving to be in the armor so that isn`t much of a problem ) and try to be patient in letting the elastic find its place as you said, thanks man!
  16. Thanks for the suggestions guys I really appreciate it and.....the Anovos kit has a distinct left and right bell with a slight forward curve on the notch (more on the left than the right) so that`s not it, there`s no return edge left to trim, including the recess and the elastic are as tight as can be....I´m now thinking perhaps it`s to tight causing the bell to squeeze to hard round the bicep..hmmm....I´ll have another fitting and see...and pehaps the right bicep is somewhat twisted not allowing the bell to fall in place....
  17. Worked on the shoulders...not sure if I´m happy with this...I might have to try and reshape them in order to get them to sit right---or leave as is.. thoughts?
  18. Small update: painted the buttons and removed the old snaps for a cleaner look
