  1. @Raider That is great to know we can still cut them out!
  2. are you going for Specialist level? I thought the ear holes were not allowed for Specialist.
  3. Any updates on your kit? I have a WTF kit also and been working a lot on it during the lockdown. Hoping to see how much you are trimming on your kit as well? Tom TS62609
  4. Did yours come with your kit? or did you get them someplace online? The ones with my kit are to large for Specialist.
  5. Thanks, the next question is, where do I find the 22mm bolts for the bucket. Mine came with much larger bolts. Thanks Tom
  6. OK so I have been very slow about this build. Been enjoying my TS ESB build. But I am now working on my TX and super excited. been doing a lot of trimming and that is also what has me bringing questions here. Do I still need to trim more? I am going to work on going for Specialist right out of the box, but I want to get this armor just right since our Garrison has no Shadow Scouts now that our one moved away Please let me know if I need to trim these down even more please. I know I have some sanding to smooth our edges and ensure rounding is proper. I feel like I still have a lot left compared to everyone else. Also this is a Walt's kit, I am pleased with it, and like I said it has a lot of trimming done and still to be done. https://imgur.com/a/ajuO5Ez I am looking for most feedback on the arm pieces. The bucket has a ways to go. Thanks Tom TS/DZ 62609
  7. I have a Walt's kit and I am not slim, so any kit will fit a slim person. My scout is my second Walt's kit. Very easy to build, nice lines to be able to trim and shape and it just goes together well and I never have issues with support if I need assistance.
  8. With the updated CRL , does anyone have a good lead or can lend an answer to the Cotton webbing we are to use for the belt now? I look at Amazon since I live in the middle of Illinois and not much to choose from and see a lot of the nylon, but want to make sure I am looking at the proper type of cotton webbing. One I found that looks ok, but want suggestions before buying is this: https://www.amazon.com/3DANCraftit-Weight-Polyester-Cotton-Webbing/dp/B07QWSWRVL/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?crid=3UFTGBG9WXW1Q&keywords=black+cotton+webbing&qid=1567101580&s=gateway&sprefix=black+cotton+we%2Caps%2C179&sr=8-3-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyRUZDNE9PNUs0SE0zJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjkzMjgzM1FQSUUzR0VZRUwzMCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjM2MjA0MVROOEJPWlA1VkFMUCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU= All help is appreciated. I am currently trimming my WTF armor and will be building all of my own soft goods. Thanks Tom DZ 62609
  9. I know this thread is older, but I also just got my WTF Shadow Scout today. I am finishing a WTF ESB Snowie and looking forward to the Scout. Let me know how far you are and maybe we can work virtually together on ours. The armor looks great and already has been trimmed up well. Tom DZ 62609
