  1. It should be noted that some of the designs are idealised and not accurate. That's often the trade off for free files.
  2. Based on available imagery I would suggest they are black underneath the coating of Mimban mud.
  3. Welcome to the forums Jared. Good to have you here. Look forward to following your build and shout out with any questions.
  4. Hi Javi You can always contact the vendor and ask if it's something they have as a file or can create. I'm not sure I've seen the EC-17 cartridges anywhere else. Cheers Darren
  5. Hi Javi Here are a couple of options... https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/art/scans-replicas/mud-trooper-grenade-vals-version https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/other/mudtrooper-grenade
  6. Thanks for the pics Jorge. We would need more pics of the costume including shots of some of the parts, e.g. jacket, tunic, pants, boots, etc. These pics would also need to be in better quality. The first obvious call-out is the greaves. Korso does not wear these. Much of his kit is different to a Mudtrooper.
  7. Not sure about an available pattern but I reckon the Kradmantel is the correct style despite the buttons and pockets.
  8. Looks very compelling, especially given the collar material, but the Korso coat has a distinct lack of buttons, button holes and pockets, and the Kradmantel has plenty of these. Still feel it's the closest yet.
  9. Another detail I have noticed - which I had previously missed - is that the coat collar has a black material layer stitched on.
  10. Great work on pulling this costume together. Ultimately an LMO decision will decide whether or not a costume can progress to CRL, based on reference, but a few initial call-outs from me based on images reviews of Korso. These are not criticisms, merely observations. The Korso trench coat does not have stitched panels or button holes like the one you're using. The cuffs are also different. Korso does not wear the same tunic as a Mudtrooper. Korso does not have reinforced panels on his pants like a Mudtrooper. I previously shared some pics in Mike's research/build thread which highlight these differences.
  11. Congrats on starting your jour way! it is 100% possible to do a two-for with the Muddie and ICAT. Many have. other than the helmet you’ll need different gloves and a neck seal for the ICAT but everything else is interchangeable. You’ll also want to consider more tempered weathering as I some Muddies are too heavily weather to consider the ICAT - myself included!
  12. Thanks to Chapter 15 of The Mandalorian we have a ton of reference . They used MT kits from Solo for the ICAT Trooper. Here’s just one shot for you.

    New to the game

Hi Dave! Great to see you adapting your ICAT to a Mudtrooper. You’ll find one solution to the Plash solution in my build thread here:
  14. I would have to agree with this statement.
  15. The Imperial COG was seen on a couple of hero Mudtrooper costumes in Solo. We don't have photo evidence that they were on the grunt costumes but the assumption is that it would have been a standard fixture across the board. I still think it's a fair addition for Lvl 2 but I guess those wanting to do Mudtrooper and ICAT would prefer it not included so two tunics are not required.
  16. It’s fast approaching the one year anniversary of getting my Mudtrooper approved. This past weekend I finally got to troop my kit for the first time! Up until the weekend I hadn’t worn the kit longer than thirty minutes so I knew Oz Comic-Con Pop-up would prove a real test in terms of durability and endurability. I’m glad to report that there were no kit malfunctions and I returned to base with everything intact. But it’s safe to say I learned a few things about the kit that I will need to address. Firstly, my boots. They are vintage Soviet Officer boots which fit well and are mostly comfy, however, it became apparent as time passed by that the toe section needs to be stretched/heightened. My big toes copped an agonising bashing and after two long sessions in kit I was practically hobbled. With a bit of time, softening and stretching all should come good. Next up, the collar and shoulders. Wearing the FOTK I’m used to load-bearing around the neck and shoulder area but the Muddy was next level torture by comparison. The cause is simple...the Plash Palatka! The cape is so damn heavy that it really drags you down. I’m happy that the rigging of the Plash is well placed but need to consider some padding around the neck, almost like a low profile foam travel pillow, which will help provide some support. I’ve started to consider my options and hatch a plan. When all is said and done, it was great to be out in the wild and finally troop the Muddy. The costume got a lot of love and the response from Garrison mates seeing it for the first time was overwhelming. it’s safe to say that even with its limited screen time the Mudtrooper piques people’s interest. With thanks to Sarah Hiller, Andy Price and Adam Skidmore for additional pics.
  17. We’ve recently created a vendor list for the Mudtrooper. Features all the current vendors, including some new options for soft parts. It’s in the process of being formatted and should be up soon.
  18. I love Jim's armour but honestly feel it would be a struggle for larger frames. I'm 5'10" with a 41" chest and once it's on with tunic underneath I would consider it a form fit. Jason at Intergalactic Supply offers abs kits. Kevin Weir at Imperial Surplus will be announcing a kit at some point in the future but not sure how far off. Of the other abs kits out there - and there are a couple - I personally wouldn't recommend them based on what I've seen in terms of detail, etc. For the record, the best currently available print files out there for the body armour can be found at www.mudtrooper.co.uk.
  19. Yes, I do have a pair of custom black FOTK boots for sale. They were made by Imperial Boots. Sz UK9 / EU43 / US10
  20. I wouldn’t get too hung up on the paint. It’s great for accuracy/comparison that we know the codes but, yes, they are special order. There are plenty of terrific base field green paints from major brands which can then be given a light dusting of darker grey paints. You will still get a great effect.
  21. Per above your best bet for tunic and pants at this time are Jim Tripon (Jimmiroquai), Steven Walker (Rebel Base Creations) and Vincent Rhondia (Imperial Boots). They all have Facebook pages and some can be found as members here.
  22. Yes, Juggernaut is a term someone ran with but it’s not canon.
  23. Not sure where the name Juggernaut Pilot came from but the character is officially know as the ICAT Trooper - as detailed in The Mandalorian by Mayfield. For amour I would look at Jim Tripon for fibreglass, Intergalactic Supply for ABS and the Sean Field v2 files via www.mudtrooper.co.uk if 3D printing. The latter is currently THE most accurate build files available based on further research we conducted post-airing of 'The Believer'. For soft parts you can run with Jim Tripon, Steven Walker and Imperial Boots. All have updated their pattern, again, based on the detailed research we conducted. If you need any further info let us know.
  24. Great start! You’ll find the SF2 files much improved thanks to our research post The Mandalorian episode. Look forward to seeing them printed up.
