When e-6000 dries, parts can be separated without too much trouble. The glue can literally be peeled off without causing any problems or damage to plastic. It is cool like that!
I would not use ABS cement as it can melt your plastic (the potential disaster). I'd find a Super glue that works for you. I prefer Gorilla Glue since it can be found anywhere, sets quickly, and holds virtually forever.
IME, e6000 needs to cure for a while, like 24 hours to be safe. I use it for attaching greeblies, small armor repairs, etc. I know others have done a helmet using it, but I would not. You might be better off using something stronger like Super Glue, Gorilla Glue, Zapagap, etc.
Looking really good Jason, nice work. I'll put your name on the hang boxes whenever you want them. I too am a scout nut, and the realistic swampy is my next one.
Really, looking good Jason. You are bringing this one to life. You know, right now - there is only one other approved Swamptrooper in the Legion (Dartoftruth). Keep up the great work!
Yep, that was addressed in the updated CRL we sent to the Legion. A few other details were cleared up as well. As Chef mentioned, just follow his direction. The link to the updated CRL also has the changes in it.

It sort of pulls from the anime world, huh. Should be an interesting show. I can't wait to see the scouts. And a Rubies lid, shh...we do not even whisper that around here!
The current CRL does not call for the vest, but the updated CRL does require it. Unless you are going for the "game version". That one does not require a vest. A request has already been made to the Legion for an update to the CRL. So you might want to complete your vest. Timing...and your GML at this point.

Although you've been part of the family for a while, it is nice to get the digits and make it official. I have enjoyed watching your build and passion for the costume. I also look forward to seeing your Specialist app and trooping with you in the future! Well done all the way around trooper!
This would be a cool costume to do, as a realistic interpretation.
The Star Wars Rebels show is going to be pretty cool. Although, the costumes took on a slightly angular aspects to them. The stormtroopers we know and love changed, ever so slightly. The cartoon version may be a little wonky.
