  1. The Rubies armor and helmet are rotocast vinyl, which is bendable - but terrible to work on. I agree with DE, sell that dude on eBay and get some ABS armor. In the end, you'll look much better and be more happy. http://urbanvinyl.wikia.com/wiki/Rotocast http://www.atypicalgeek.net/armor-101/
  2. I used the Trooperbay matte decals on my scout.
  3. Yep, that would be this guy. And he will most likely see screen time.
  4. He responds quickly. You can also hit him up on the RPF. Great guy...
  5. I hope things get better brother. If you need any help, just holla this way.
  6. Provided you use a cs that "looks" like a Rivet, you'll be good to go.
  7. In 2 words, Chicago Screws. https://www.tandyleather.com/en-usd/home/department/hardware/screw-posts/screw-posts.aspx
  8. This is a personal deal, but I'd replace the chest/back joins with cotton webbing. The nylon webbing does not work. Your armor looks nice and shiny though!
  9. These may work better: http://www.amazon.co...ck+hiking+boots http://www.amazon.co...ck+hiking+boots What size do you wear? Depending on your size, you want something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PRE-OWNED-PAIR-RUGGED-OUTBACK-MENS-HIKING-WORK-BOOTS-H2O-PROOF-WORN-ONCE-BLACK-/251950779881?hash=item3aa96fcde9
  10. Yes, you could do that too. But, a lot of work on that tough rubber. You'd be better off finding a nice black hiking boot base. Here's a shot of mine:
  11. The Palladium boots are really similar to the original Sierra sneakers worn in ROTJ. However, that model won't work for your mod. The sneaker sole ridges will also be an issue. If you want to use the P-boot, check this one out: http://www.palladium...-hi-02352-060-m
  12. Sadly, Craig is no longer with us. His wife finished the costume and Mel now represents Craig in the Legion. He was a top-notch fellow.
  13. Looks great Dorothy! That is a cool helmet. At least you now know how durable it is, ouch.
