It is what it is eh. All the stuff from Etsy will be here months end and the armour by year end. Boots and soft goods will be next year but with it being properly tailored jacket and trousers its worth the cost to get the test fits etc Will be worth it

Some one in my garrison bought scout boots off him so I was gonna see exactly what he did to get his into the UK successfully

Forgot about this sorry. Going through the messages again think they would do if they got a chance to catch up and take the time to make up the patterns etc but never really got s definite answer sadly. In the end I decided to go with a local seamstress who's also in the RL and advantage of that is proper measurements and test fittings etc So given that and my side of the pond I wont be going with DSC They seemed ken but it would probably be better if someone stateside took the first jump tbh boss

Progress very slow and life has been getting in the way but still working towards this

its been a pretty horrific time of late so plenty of things were on hold. Decided to go ahead with the V1 for now and can always sort the armour out later. Will be re printing some rifle bits and sorting the pistol out ( paint prep ) as I gotta do the rifle and pistol for extra cool

Been doing any measurements / sizing on top of a very thick hoodie

Decided to have a go at printing the armour , bells and biceps were measured and then scale checked. Rest of the armour pieces then scaled to suit. Why not try it , the absolute worst I have to do if that doesn't work is buy the WTF which after many chats I know will fit. Should be good as my scout is not an issue and that has a similar ( ish ) clamshell. Just doing the front pieces for now to see if worth pursuing

One thing springs to mind as we know I have bit of a belly at the moment. the top of the chest /back armour will be fine as the straps /webbing are easy to sort length wise.. Given the side section and the swoops I think it might be possible to extend / add a section to make the side join longer providing it meets the style of the ref pics?

Spent a lot of time speaking to Walt about his stuff and hes seen pics and has measurements. We reckon it should be okay but at least can get the version 1 sorted If nothing else.. The scout was no issues with that armour and the bells are bigger on the IAT so will see , theres no rush and I am trying to lose weight so it'll be fun

Cheers , Just grabbed them from there , not too worried about the helmet as not sure id do that version as im wanting to to the version 2 soft cap armour but thanks so muchfoer the heads up. Just having fun trying to print there blaster files , I say "fun" as one of the t tracks is proving a night mare but its my first printer so ill sort it Anyway , Thanks Jason.
