back from holidays and made the changes to the helmet to reflect a lot of the measurments that you brought up. hopefully this is final version of the helmet and i can start printing. -
maybe i am off base, but i feel like its a two piece. look below the armpit, the piece that you guys are ferencing as the upper chest disappears into the lower plate. my concern with that as its own plat is it wont have any structure there and would give rise to floating. From a strength standpoint, i think an upper and lower will be stronger. and if you look where the chest comes to, its a good inch or more above the belly button, so will give room for bending over still

this is all amazing. I will make all the changes. Now that i see ti, if i dont make the changes, it will be stuck in my head forever that its not perfect Will be a few days before i can get to it due to life, but i await the critiques for the sides and back. or should we wait for those until im done the front changes sicnce it will change the side profiles etc -
the seamstress i talked to thinks it is more form fitting. she said to me to think of a meterial like captain americas suit, has that tough look, but is form fitting stretch fabric to allow movement. a flight suit is easier for sure, ala tie pilots,. just let me know what we going with and i will move that direction to find fabric

did you see the left side render of the helmet? any feedback on last renders of helmet? So then those boots i linked, would i be cool to buy them? i feel like the pants and the top are two different materials, but that could just be me based on the fact that the top looks like those british military sweaters with that pleating. soulart is part of the pr team for 501st and was on a few costume advisor roles, shoudl i invite her to this detachment so she can participate in the chat? i dont sew so she would be building it for me, her company she runs and makes a alrge number of 501st approved costumes is geeky pinks i ask first as i dont want to step on toes, just want to ensure we bringing the best costume forward for the eventual crl

in regards to the flight suit. im talking to teresa who goes by soulart 41307 on the forums, she has written a few crls, and she says that cotton isnt a good option for the suit. she said as tight as the suits are, cotton is not viable as a fabric choice. she says need to be a spandex or spandex cotton blend
