drthmrl[TX]
Once I'm done I'm going to dry-brush a rust/brown highlight over it all to give it that worn look. Think it's going to look good. Link to comment
Griffin-X[501st]
Great work on this Mearl. I can't wait to see the finished product. Link to comment

drthmrl[TX]
Thanks. I was going to add some more "cracks" but I think less is more in this case. :-) Link to comment
Darth Emphatic[CMD-DWM]
I agree. Do not over do it or you risk weakening the plastic too much and then it will look truly broken instead of battle scarred. I know that may sound like the point, but you still want it wearable. Link to comment
toddo[TX]
that chest piece is nicely done in my opinion. Link to comment
drthmrl[TX]
Maybe one more crack from the bottom under the burn hole up at a right angle was what I was thinking. Link to comment
izzi[TX]
I'd just call it good as it is. Â -iz Link to comment

drthmrl[TX]
Quick question, I'm going to add some green highlights. I've been told to use a neon type green to a olive green. I think neon would be to bright and olive wouldn't show against the black. So, maybe a hunter green? Link to comment
Chef[501st]
Why not get the two... Â Start with the olive, put a bit of neon in... mix it up. Paint it on.... Put a bit more neon in... mix it up, paint it on... and so on... Â You end up getting a nice highlight effect. Â Stop when you think you're at the right colour. Link to comment
Master Tej
I'd say to try the olive green, and if it isn't visible, then use the hunter's green. However, mixing it and going from there also sounds useful. Â - Master Tej - Link to comment
