New Shadowtrooper kit

Recommended Posts

A lot of the original TK's of the legion all came in matte black and had to be painted white. So, yeah, you could do it, but the upkeep would probably suck. Besides, you'll look so much better in black.:yes:

hmmm very intresting... I may have to think about this!.. Dont worry I will be black for a while. I like that we are like the seals of the TKs......but a TK is just still cool..... now my site are set on something else (proton pack) and may ditch the idea of getting a another AM kit and just repaint this when I and if I change my mind.

I thought about that too. you can cover it with vinyl, you know like they do with vehicle wraps when they advertise on cars. you heat it up with a heat gun for a minute then can stretch it over the details. Then remove whenever you want. (also how the Japanese chrome stormtrooper did his) The thing is getting it in the squares on the forearms will be tricky, but it should go over the cover strips and dohnut on the back piece just fine with the right amount of heat control.

Been meaning to post in this thread for a while now (kept forgetting :( ), just thought I'd finally throw my 2 credits in...

I have one of these "mypropcollection" kits. They are in fact true/original AM kits. They are not recast in anyway. I bought a white kit from him for my EVO Trooper (I took a bit of a gamble to see if it was a legitimate kit). Everything was exactly like my black AM kit I have for my Nova; every piece of armor was identical, everything was packaged the same, same fragile sticker on the box, even the same freebie pauldron came with it, it is definitely an AM kit, NOT recast junk (believe me I know recast junk, I made that mistake when I first started out).

Left is the mypropcollection box, the right is my direct buy from AM.

Another fresh from the box. Ignore the Gen. Veers kit in the front...

Evilboy, you may be confusing mypropcollection with Star Fortress Productions/Nexus Enterprising/Any other BS names he has. Star Fortress is the only one I know with that "terrific" record you posted.

Now this being said, don't trust Ebay at all either. Sometimes you can find some great stuff but almost all of it is garbage. Stay with the reputable sellers we have.

Well I hope I haven't rambled too much on this subject. :whistling:

As far as "mypropcollection" goes he is a reputable seller and I can vouch for not only his armor quality but his character as well. He is based out of Southern California Garrison and is not a recaster nor is he an unsavory person believe me I arrest unsavory people on a daily basis so let's just say I've got access to information of that nature.

I purchased my second kit from him and it was his AM. Very thick plastic and the sharpest details you can find. The armor itself is what I would call the "ideal" trooper or "real world" trooper. This makes every line clean and symmetrical. Unfortunately it is nowhere near screen accurate as all onscreen troopers are wonky and assymetrical. His kit is also very large to accomidate bigger troopers. I've met the guy in person and he is at least 6'5" 275 so you can understand why he would make such a large armor. As was said he is also a seller of pauldrons and TKBoots which are far and away the best boots in the legion period.

As far as painting his armor white there is no need. He sells the exact same aromr in a High Gloss white that reflects light just like his black set for the same price. The helmet in his armor is original AM as well so unless you've got a huge dome I would recommend getting his armor and outsourcing the helmet from Arakyel or ATA at ATAworks. I can attest that Arakyel's helmet shine matches the AM armor's shine perfectly.

Oh and Peter if your really interested in AM armor the guy is a stone's throw away from you in Anaheim, CA

If anyone else wants to buy direct outside of Ebay his Email is troopersupplies@hotmail.com

Hope this clears everything up :NovaTrooper::yes::NovaTrooper:

This is Crazy, I think I may have actually bought from this guy. The box is the same and everything you mentioned. The only reason I never really new where it came from was cuz my buddy "nodoner" here onthe spec ops forum, new a guy that knows him, and thats how me and another friend (not on the boards) got our kits. Now the story of where the kit really came from (I had my doubts for a sec) has come full circle. I think I will hit him up.:thanks:

Funny how we went from He is a Child Porno guy to hey I got my Kit from him too. Again another reason this site is great..... :)
