Ammo pouch fitting

I should be ordering a MP40 ammo pouch tomorrow and need to know how its suppose to go on the left shoulder? Straps/rivets etc

Any pictures would be appreciated.

Over in the Del Meeko thread we are using the term "invisible fastener" and recommending heavy duty magnets.  Not the light duty Walmart craft stuff.  I order 1.25" ring magnets for connecting tie pilot hoses to chestboxes and I use them for holding other things to my various uniforms.  

 

Its an option.
