To the Mudtroopers out there...

Recommended Posts

So, turns out that most of the hard and soft parts for the Juggernaut Pilot (referred to as Imperial Combat Assault Transport Driver in the CRL, link below) are used in the mudtrooper build as well. I was wondering where you folks got your parts (soft and hard) so that I can acquire some myself. I have to ask here since the ACD doesn't yet have many people who have gone for this build, and since we share a lot of common parts...

Thanks in advance!

I will let guys like @JAFO @rickyboyblue chime in but Jim Tripon is a common supplier. Andrew McClary as well.  Many people print their own kits.

An idea...when ur done w the transport driver...get the Mudtrooper parts n join us here as well!

Gabriel, I cant speak for the ACD, its been a long time sice i went in there, but when you set up your gear for SO, its worth it to go for the Specialist Program.  Those are the Level 2 standards in blue. I'ts tougher, but looks better overall, and we reward our Specialists.

as of yet, I am too broke to focus on getting all extra equipment and such, but I think when I get to my mudtrooper build, I might start a basic and then shoot for the upgrade. my current goal (unless it is cheaper to aim for the better of 2), is just to get it approved once done. I'll shoot for the stars, one blaster after the other, instead of directly coming with orbital bombardements ?

Not sure where the name Juggernaut Pilot came from but the character is officially know as the ICAT Trooper - as detailed in The Mandalorian by Mayfield.

For amour I would look at Jim Tripon for fibreglass, Intergalactic Supply for ABS and the Sean Field v2 files via www.mudtrooper.co.uk if 3D printing. The latter is currently THE most accurate build files available based on further research we conducted post-airing of 'The Believer'.

For soft parts you can run with Jim Tripon, Steven Walker and Imperial Boots. All have updated their pattern, again, based on the detailed research we conducted.

If you need any further info let us know.

Juggernaut pilot is a term I have found in other places online, and I use it to differentiate between this and the other ICAT there is in the CRL.

I do thank you for the other resources as it will benefit greatly in my search. I had already come across names such as IB and Jim Tripon, as well as Mudtrooper uk. The added names are very welcome in my search list.

Thanks again!

I am brand new to all of this.  I just ordered my mudtrooper kit from 850armorworks and ordered some various items (gloves, poncho, ammo belt) but I am curious about where people found pants and shirt.

Per above your best bet for tunic and pants at this time are Jim Tripon (Jimmiroquai), Steven Walker (Rebel Base Creations) and Vincent Rhondia (Imperial Boots).

They all have Facebook pages and some can be found as members here.

Welcome Ryan, and Im in progress on this as well.  Gabriel since I last posted I have rejoined my discussions in the ACD, and I am Dewka over there *(my Legion name).

Ill be bouncing ideas on the Combat Assault Transport Driver over there with you, essentially the armor minus helmet is the same as our Mudtrooper.  I have read Ricky's topic twice and its a fantastic resource.  By reading this topic, I now know more about where to source soft parts other than Jim Tripon.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE WIP TOPICS and Questions.

Do you have Ricky's legion username to help me find their topic?

We’ve recently created a vendor list for the Mudtrooper. Features all the current vendors, including some new options for soft parts.

It’s in the process of being formatted and should be up soon.
