Question about Jumpsuit

Hi guys, I am new to the Army Trooper scene. I'm starting gather materials/equipment to build this impression.

I bought https://www.ebay.com/itm/284925087234 and I was wondering:

The back pockets are visible there and I was thinking of removing those back pockets and using them to create the thigh pockets with the flaps.

Would this be possible?
