Incorrect style in CRL Image blow show the cut is not triangular and also show the thinner trim dimension vs the lower edging. Here is is for the Purge Commander. The red really highlights the trim size differences. 1 1 Link to comment

TK 21814[TX]
Knee Armor • Purge Trooper style knee armor. • Armor is painted matte or satin black. • Knees have a protruding flat area in front, oriented towards the top of the knee. • Knees bend around the front and connect to black detail clips that connect the strap on each side. • The outer leg side has straight edges from the central rib, and the plate does not extend towards the back of the knee where the clip attaches. Note where the clip attaches, that the knee plate is a straight cut up-and-down. The bottom edge features a "high-arc" cut in it. • The inner leg side of the knee plate has a curved top edge (vs the outer's straight), and the plate protrudes further back towards the back of the leg. This side of the knee plate is actually longer than the outside. Note that where the clip connects, there is a gentle curve in the plate. Also note the "low-arc" cut at the bottom of the knee plate. • A black colored flat strap, about 1⅛ inches wide, wraps around the back of the leg. • Strap has a raised ⅝ inch wide grey center strap. • Armor has little to no weathering. Any weathering present consists of grey tones. Outside of Knee Inside of Knee 1 Link to comment

TK 21814[TX]
Electrostaff • Electrostaff is approximately 84 inches long. • The middle handle of the staff is approximately 35 inches long. o The middle section of the staff is ribbed. o There are four evenly spaced, circular rods that run the length of the middle section. • There is a black gunmetal/dark-gray coupler greeblie on either end of the middle section. • Outside of the first coupler greeblie is a textured, black gunmetal/dark-gray section followed by another coupler greeblie that is a mirror image of the first coupler. • There is a short, black gunmetal/dark-gray section following the second coupler. o This section has four evenly spaced detail strips. • The next section is a smooth, black cylindrical section. • The next section is a smooth, grey or silver section with a smaller diameter than the preceding section. o This section is approximately 9 inches long. • The tip of the staff consists of a smooth grey or silver section with a squared off tip. o This section ends in a bevel where it meets the preceding section. o A detail line is present around the circumference of the shaft approximately an inch from the end. I don't know how best to describe the electrostaff. Below are the dimensions and configuration I have calculated, which differs from the current CRL. I don't know if this level of detail would be too concise for the CRL, as building materials will dictate anyone's build. 1 Link to comment

TK 21814[TX]
I've updated the kama details, as the triangular cut is incorrect. Trim (bias tape edging) dimensions also differ from cut to edge. 1 1 Link to comment

I will lead this off with the helmet to have the team input in the changes you have requested in relation to the reference images update: NOTE: Orange text indicates what was changed. Visor is red and has red lighting effect. ------------------------- Leading the discussion, we should probably make some consideration for L2 details (not L3 as Spec Ops does not recognize L3). Personally, from the get-go I believe that we should have the red lighting effect as a L2 detail for the visor. 2 Link to comment
tipperaryred[CMD-DCA]
Would agree with lighting for L2. Not much jumps as L2 only. Also, while I agree with taking "matte" out, is there a reason why it's as specific as "satin" instead? As opposed to "gloss" or "satin/gloss"? I'd struggle to tell the difference between them often, especially in black. 1 Link to comment

I do agree that we need to think about consistency with basic, whilst still meeting standards for the costume. I believe we ran into this with the shadow stormtroopers and novas. 1 Link to comment
