Updating the CRL for Version 3 As well as Adding CRL Text for E-11 and DLT-19

Hello again! I spoke with the DCA team again today and we are going to be working the photos (and requesting additional ones as needed) to update the text for the helmet! We are still talking about the blasters.

This is something that came up while researching some other things for IOC:

The Team on the episode all carry secondary blasters and holsters. How do we feel about adding them to the CRL? Technically those characters are Rebels in disguise, but they have an Imperial Blaster and Holster (except for Cassian)

Some backgrounders also carry holsters:

Noteworthy: Both Left and Right Handed holsters are worn, with crossdrawn and regularly holstered blasters.

The blasters are Merr Sonn Power 5, a new text to cover them is being written on the IOC at the moment.

from looking at the pics I could only tell they were based on Mausers but could not tell the actual model be they DL44 or MSP5.

Its certainly something we can review.

Bunch of screenshots, verbiage for weapon and holster, what type of Mauser used, etc in this thread: https://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/topic/15786-isb-non-saga-imperial-military-officer-power-5-updates/

I feel like since this was already a thread talking about version 3 with the helmet, I'm happy to announce that we have a CRL model for that one and we'll be getting ready to unlock that CRL to add the version 3 helmeted w/ armor option.

Hi, long time not being there. But I'll be trying to validate my andor trooper soon, so I was wondering if there is any update about the E-11?

I don't believe the E-11 (instead of the E-10.5) was used in the scenes, but I could be wrong. I'll have to go back and check out the scenes again. @Dropkick and @Blackwatch do you remember seeing it?

Since weapons are optional, I don't see how for most troops (non-LFL) that a GML would balk at it, it would be their discretion for each event anyways...however, from an official reference capacity we'd need to see pics of a regular E-11.

Hi, for me there are 2 troopers in scenes with an E-11 (I might be wrong)

First the guard in the elevator, pictures here:

The other is the corporal with a mustache when it goes down to the vault. I don't have pictures of that one in High definition (I would need to capture them), but on a quick YouTube video I managed to capture this one:

Anyway, also the GML option makes sense, but in my view, if there are 2 troopers with E-11 in the scenes we can include them on the CRL.

Shayan go ahead and write us up a draft proposal if you would for each.

I'll see if I can get around to it soon. I've been plagued a bit by things IRL, sorry for the holdup!

I've also got this new shot of Kimzi, which shows the green on the uniform in a neutral light. This may mean we might as well look at getting the shade of green we use updated? Since it doesn't get much better than neutral light character shot.

This would probably also confirm that the gray looking armor in the show is a result of color grading, and that it actually is black, like we've heard from Fraser. I think we should probably gather all updates we can and then update for as many attachments and changes as we can in one go?

Took a quick moment in photoshop to adjust the CRL Photo of TJ, I hope that's not frowned upon or anything! I was just curious to see what our current CRL pics would look like tone adjusted to match the behind the scenes stuff more closely. If inappropriate, I can delete the post again of course.

the bottom link isnt working.  The colors are all over the place, super common in star wars and pretty much all film franchises. Thats why we need to pick a color and stick to it . The yavin hangar scene had two sets of troopers wearing tan coveralls but due to lighting they appear both tan AND grey int he same shot literally 8 feet apart.  In the RL we called it the great grey/tan debate until we found out what color they actuallly were when a real one was found.

every bit of reference we have is posted to the crl creation topic. There are websites such as starwarscreencaps.com where most fo those were harvested from, as well as people capping them off their own monitors.
